As part of this initiative, we are working to improve how students recycle both in the classroom and in the playground. The school has organised buckets in classrooms for crunch and sip scraps, paper recycling boxes in all rooms and mixed recycling bins in the playground. When they have all arrived we will monitor how much we can reduce our waste by recycling what we can. WE NEED YOU !!! We are asking for donations of any unused worm farms or lidded compost bins for our food scraps. If you are able to help us in our recycling initiative, please contact the office so we can begin utilising our food scraps in an environmentally friendly way. Sporting Achievements

Chantell Hore competed in the PSSA South Coast Cricket team at Barooga on the Victorian border. This is a 5-day event, where girls competed against people from all over NSW. She is now off to Campbelltown for a training squad. If she is chosen, she will then play for the New South Wales Girls Cricket team in Darwin at the National

Championships. Congratulations! Also, last week, Kasey Ashburner competed in the NSW State Surf Life Saving Championships at Umina. She com-peted in the Surf race and Ironwoman race. She placed an amazing 3rd place in the Surf race out of over 250 girls and 4th in the Ironwoman race. Congratulations Kasey!

Well done to both girls. You’ve made the school proud with your fantastic effort.

*Reminder to all Students K-6 Friday Week 10 we will be holding the school Cross County Carnival at school from 9am (starting with Kindergarten).
