    Objectives:

    Create a new logo for an upcoming event.

    Find four images to enhance brochure.Create a color scheme to make contrast in my design.Make one image a full-bleed.Textwrap around a photo.

    Process:I started out by sketching out Ideas for my brochure placement. Then I usedIllustrator to create my logo. I then gured out what color scheme would match bestwith my logo. Ater I completed my logo, I used the magic wand tool inPhotoshop to crop an image to create a textwrap around my photo. Then I put all myimages into InDesign and completed my brochure.

    Namaste

    Porter ParkAnnual Yoga Class

    What: Once a year the yoga studio, Namaste, puts onfree yoga class for the community to get people excited

    about physical activity and gain new members to their yoga

    family. Namaste provides a relaxing and welcoming envirn-

    ment and always welcome new members. Come joins us for

    a fun and enjoyable yoga experience that will start your day

    off right.

    Where:Namaste will host their annual yoga class at Porter Park in

    Rexburg, Idaho.

    Time: Saturday April 2nd at 9:00 a.m.

    What to bring

     1. Before: Drink water in the time leading up before the yoga

    class so your body has time to absorb the water and properly

    hydrate your body.

    2. During: the yoga class, drink every so often to keep your

    body hydrated. You will be sweating out your fluids so it is es-

    sential to keep water flowing through the body.

    3. After: When class is over your body needs to be replenished

    of all the fluids you lost. Make sure to continuously drink water

    after yoga to ensure all the benefits form yoga.

    Annual Namaste Yoga in the Park

    Namaste asks that everyone bring a yoga mat for the class. If

    you do not have a yoga mat you may bring a beach

    towel or a small blanket instead. It is necessary to

    have some sort support beneath you to help

    maintain balance as well make your experience

    more comfortable. The yoga instructor also ad-

    vises each person to bring his or her own water

    bottle to stay hydrated. It will be warm outsidewhich will result in sweating out all of your flu-

    ids from the physical activity. Read below for tips

    on hydration for yoga.

    Choose a color scheme for the photo you use with a digital camera.Adjust image levels such a saturation, color balance, and the sharpen tool.

    Size and crop the image.

    Use layers to design text.

    Process:

    I started out by sketching out Ideas for my photodesign. Then I chose a color schemethat I wanted to use. I then used a digital camera to take the photo. After I took apicture I liked, I put it into photoshop. I then edited my image and croped outeverthing I didn’t want. Lastly I added my text and made sure to create a colorscheme throughout my design.

    Objectives:Use the FOCUS design process with strong focal point and ow.Unify a layout with a consistent theme and dominant spiritual message.Learn to blend two or more images together gradually, using masks.Use a mask to apply a lter to one part of the image.Apply typography principles.

    Process:I started out by thinking of what I wanted to say in my image. I then sketched outideas for my montage. After I chose a theme, I looked for two pictures that told thatmessage. I then put the photos on photoshop and starting my masking process.Masking is essencially blending two or more images together to create a unifeddesign.

    I started out by deciding what logo would be best to use. Then I chose a colorscheme that I felt would enhance my logo. I chose colors that were bold but not tooashy. The color scheme I decided to go with monochromatic blue because It lookedprofessional and t well with my logo. I then went on Adobe Illustrator and begancreating shapes that I thought would grab the audience’sattention.

    Process:I used many different tools to create our website. The rst tool I used is photo shopto make sure my logo was the right size. Then I used text wrangler to start the cssand html process. I used photoshop again so I could take the colors from my logoand put them in my vans css document.

    Process:For this assignment I used Adobe InDesign to create a ier. The process that helpedme stay organized during this assignment is the FOCUS plan. I started out by formu-lating a plan for my ier, then I organized my information together, then I made sureto contrast my image, then I had my peers analyze my ier and see if it looked uni-ed, then I took out different things that my peers told me was unnecessary.

Once I decided what I wanted my ad to be I found a photo.I then scanned an image from a sports illustrated magazine. I then gured out whatcolors would be best for my ad to make it stand out.
