STEP 79-ARetrieve the right side door (78-1) and fit the door trim (79-2) into the three indicated holes on the outside. Secure from inside with three BP09 screws (79-17).

STEP 79-CFit the handle support onto the handle from the inside of the door.Secure with a BP09 screw (79-17).

STEP 79-BThe handle (79-12) and handle support (79-14) fit together in only one position. Insert the handle into the indicated hole in the door.

STEP 79-DPlace the lock spring (79-11) into the indicated slot on the inside of the door and then place the lock mechanism (79-13) over it.

STEP 79-FSecure the lock plate with two BD08 screws (79-16).

STEP 79-EHold the parts in place and fit the lock plate (79-15) over them, placing the holes onto the posts.

STEP 80-C1. Place the four parts of the window closing mechanism (79-8, 79-7, 79-6 and 79-5) as shown.

2. First assemble parts 79-8 and 79-7, aligning the holes and inserting a short pin (79-10) through them.

3. Press the pin into place with pliers.

4 and 5. Combine this assembly with part 79-6 and another short pin (79-10).

6 and 7. Finally, fix part 79-5 to 79-6 with a third short pin (79-10).

STEP 80-DTake the hinge assembled in Step 80-B and place it on the long bracket on the inside of the right side door window (79-1). Secure with two BP09 screws (79-17).

STEP 80-B1. Align the holes of the two window hinge parts (79-3 and 79-4). 2.Pass the long pin (79-9) through the aligned holes, smooth-end first. 3. Push the pin into position with pliers, as shown.

STEP 80-AThe pins (79-9 and 79-10) are textured at one end to lock them in place. Always make sure you insert them smooth-end first.

STEP 80-EInstal the closing mechanism to the bracket at the other end of the window, as shown. Secure with two BP09 screws (79-17).

STEP 80-GPlace the right side door inner panel (80-1) on the inside of the door, aligning the posts and holes, and passing the closing mechanism through the opening.

STEP 80-HPress the two parts together so they are flush. Secure the panel with four BD04 screws (80-3).

STEP 80-FPass the hinge through the opening in the right side door (79-1), placing it over the two indicated holes. Secure the hinge with two BD08 screws (79-16).

STEP 83-AMount the front body trim (83-1) onto the front body, inserting the pins into the indicated holes.

STEP 83-DFit the left headlight lens into the headlight, as shown.

STEP 83-CIdentify the holes in the sides of the left headlight (83-2). The pins on the inside of the left headlight lens (83-4) fit into these holes. The two parts can only fit together in one way.

STEP 83-BCarefully press the parts together.

STEP 84-ARemove the speedometer from the instrument displays (84-10) and place it into the speedometer case (84-4), as shown.

STEP 84-DPlace the oil pressure indicator (instrument displays) into the oil pressure indicator case (84-5) and fit the glass (84-8) over it.

STEP 84-CSeparate the clock from the instrument displays and place it into the clock case (84-6). Then fit the glass (84-9) over it.

STEP 84-BPlace the speedometer glass (84-7) into the case.

STEP 84-ERetrieve the body front and insert the left wiper (84-1) into the indicated hole. Temporarily hold it in place with tape.

STEP 84-FPlace one of the wiper springs (84-3) onto the wiper pin on the inside of the body front. Compress the spring and fit a C-ring (84-17) onto the pin to hold the wiper in place.

STEP 84-HFollow the same process to fit the right wiper (84-2), spring (84-3) and C-ring (84-17).

STEP 84-GCheck that the C-ring is in the position shown.

STEP 85-ARetrieve the instrument panel (83-8) and the parts supplied and assembled in Stage 84. Fit the speedometer from the inside of the panel, as shown.

STEP 85-CMount the clock at the other end of the panel. Make sure the orientation is correct.

STEP 85-BNext, fit the oil pressure indicator at the end of the panel.

STEP 85-DFit the ashtray (84-11) onto the two pins in the top of the panel.

STEP 85-FMount the switch (84-16) into the underside of the instrument panel (inset). Then, fit button 1 (84-14) into the recess in front of the switch.

STEP 85-GPlace the switch bracket (84-12) over the switch and button 1, aligning the holes on either side with those in the panel. Then secure the bracket with two BP03 screws (84-18). Press button 1 to check that it activates the switch.

STEP 85-ETurn the panel over and insert button 2 (84-15) into the indicated hole.

STEP 85-HFit the handle (84-13) into the indicated holes on the outside of the panel.
