FOREWARD

Program Pendidikan Khas SK Luyang (PPKI SKL) English Week 2014 is to be organized by the PPKI SK Luyang English Committee. It is one of the activities which is planned by the committee for the year of 2014. This is the second time English Week held in PPKI and will be conducted a few new interesting activities throughout this week.

The aim of the PPKI SKL English Week 2014 is to attract pupils to involve directly actively to be conducted throughout the week. By involving personally in all activities to be conducted, the committee hopes it will enhance their interest to learn English Language in much more fun ways. Other than that, the committee aims to expose the pupils with a few new activities instead of previous activities held in 2012. By including these activities, pupils ill discover more interesting ways to learn English other than what they experienced everyday in daily classroom. Bu dividing teachers and pupils in for different groups, the committee believes this will promote cooperation among group members and healthy competition among groups. Therefore, in other to shine throughout the week, all will work hard to improve their English and be as creative as possible in all activities to be conducted.

It is also hope that the PPKI SKL English Week 2014 will change the mentality of most people that English is difficult to learn. Through this program, the committee believes all will have fun and at the same time learn something out of it and in the end increase the interest of pupils or English Language subject and this is hope to improve their performance in this subject gradually.

OBJECTIVES

1. To increase pupils’ interest for English Language subject2. To promote “Hands On and Minds On Experience”3. To expose teachers and pupils with some new interesting English Language activities.4. To enhance confidence and self-esteem of teachers and pupils when using English

Language.5. To provide more opportunities for pupils to get involve directly in all activities to be

conducted, thus which will increase their skills, talent and creativities.6. To promotes fun in learning English.7. To enhance the usage of English Language among teachers and pupils thus will

improve their English.8. To help to improve the performances of pupils in English Language subject indirectly.

Therefore, high commitment from all is required to make sure all activities will be implemented and conducted accordingly. The involvement of all PPKI SKL Family members will contribute to the effectiveness of this program. Lastly, the English Committee want to thank all for involvement and participation either directly or indirectly on all activities during the PPKI SKL English Week 2014.
