Hello St. Bede Falcons!
Welcome to Fall! It has been very wet as of late, and we are all saying prayers for those families that live on
the water as the lakes continue to rise and fall in these crazy weather patterns we have been having.

We will be starting monthly coffee dates on the 3rd Thursday of every month starting in October
Halloween Hustle and Our Lady of the Lake Gala are coming up! Registrations are attached
Needs: EVENT CHAIRS & SHADOW CHAIRS – please see below. If we don’t have leadership for these
events, they will be cancelled.
CELEBRATIONS:
We had a very successful new family pizza party. Thank you to all those who attended and thank you
Heather Johnson and Michelle Cerasani for planning this wonderful event.
We had our first bake sale this past weekend. It was fully staffed and had lots of baked goods to sell.
Thank you K, 3 and 8 for starting us off on the right foot!
As of this writing, we have 13,760 points (about 3700 more than last week!!) and Heather Johnson is
still in the lead! We are more than half way to the $50 mark!
Box Tops: We are up to $30.60 for our school with the app! Up $3 from last week!
We are starting to fill some of our vacant event chairs – but we still need more! There is room for you
to lend your talents to our school!
UPCOMING EVENTS AND CONTESTS:
We are currently working on Sign Ups for the Gala, Game Night, and Book Fair – be on the look out!
Watch for communication from your room parents in your child’s backpack! Classroom funds, Gala
baskets, contact information and more are being collected. If you need additional information, please

As a reminder: you are all part of the Parent Association. You get automatic membership simply by enrolling your
children to be students at St. Bede. Please know this is not an exclusive group. Everyone is welcome at any time to any of
our meetings, which for the most part occur on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6:30 in the school library.
10 Ways to Get Involved at St. Bede School
If you are looking for ways to get your 20 mandatory service hours in, meet other parents, and help support the school
or parish, we have got something for you!
1 Halloween Hustle – October 26, 2019 We have an immediate need for help during the
event on 10/26. Please visit
www.stbedeschoolhh.com and click the Volunteer page. Or walk/run in the event and spend the
morning with other St. Bede families!
2 Golf Outing – August 29, 2020 We are looking for 2020 committee members.
This includes planning, getting sponsorships, and
working the outing. Please contact Carrie Madden or Karrie Frum.
3 Book Fairs Book Fairs are scheduled in the Fall, Winter and
Spring. We need assistance with helping kids Preview books and during the sale. Please contact
Lauren Schultz or Adriane Dulan.
4 Trivia/Kid’s Night planning We are in need of an event chair and committee
for Trivia Night/Kids’ Night Out (date planned for 2/21/19). We are looking for new ideas for the
Kid’s Night.
5 Holiday Shoppe Kids get to be in charge of Christmas shopping for
their families! We need volunteers to work the event in early December. Please contact Erin
Baumgardner for more information. **We need a
shadow chair**
6 Baking Have a gift for baking? In addition to our bake
sales where each class is assigned a Bake Sale date, we also often need bakers for teacher and
school events. Please look for requests via email
from the PA.
7 Box Tops We continue to collect Box Tops and are always in need of counting/sorting. The program is going
digital, download the app and scan receipts – tell
your family and friends to mark St. Bede School!
8 Parent Ambassadors Our Parent Ambassadors are here to establish connections with one another and the outside
community. Please contact Michelle Cerasani or
Heather Johnson for more information!
9 Falcon Night Outs Please join us for these every month or two. We love to see families get together! All proceeds go
to the Support our School fund. If you have a
recommendation that offers a percentage back, or are interested in coordinating a night, please let
Samantha Harris know!
10 Drama Needs Our Drama club will host a production in Spring 2020. Contact Michelle Self at
