Students study a ‘set curriculum’
following ACARA syllabi.
Students study a compulsory
curriculum for core subjects, and
select electives.
Students engage with a
compulsory curriculum for core
subjects, however may select their
own electives.
Core subjects run for the full year.
This includes English, Maths,
Science and Humanities.
Compulsory subjects run for the
full year.
This includes English, Math
Science, Humanities.
English, Math, Science are
compulsory and in Semester 2
have pre-Senior options.
Humanities is compulsory for 1
semester options of Ancient
History, Modern History,
Geography, Legal Studies, Tourism.
HPE is compulsory for 1 semester. HPE is compulsory for 1 semester. HPE is compulsory for 1 semester.
Other subjects run for 6 months to
ensure curriculum breadth.

students selecting 3 subjects.

Specialist programs
Basketball and touch development program students must select HPE extension in addition to their development program requirements.
This will take place of their HPE class.
ENCORE students must select one Arts elective as part of their learning pattern.

Students pick 2 other electives for the whole year.
