PROGRAM OUTCOME

At the conclusion of the program, the participants will have a better understanding of the mission, vision, and goal of the parishes.

A collective decision making process in which partici-pants feel the ownership and responsibility of parish ac-tivities.

Outcome oriented design of new and on-going parish activities for the coming five years.

Prioritize parish goals and actions.

Empowerment of various pastoral activities like Lit-urgy, Religious Education, Koodara Yogams, Pious Asso-ciations, Ministries, Festivals, Retreats, Prayer Groups, and Charitable services.

Action plan for the unity of the Chicago Knanaya Catholic Community while keeping up the identity and growth of Knanaya Parishes and Association.

PROPOSED PARTICIPANTS: Parish Council mem-bers, leaders of pastoral activities of the parishes, KCS executive, and selected representatives of women and youth.

COORDINATORS: Joy Vachachira and Biju Kiz hakkekuttu.

LECTORS TRAINING ON NOV. 28TH Adults, youth, and children are welcome to join a spe-cial team of lectors for our both churches. There will be a mandatory training program for the lectors on Sunday, November 28th after 10:00 A.M. Mass at both churches. Coordinators: Jojo Paru-manathettu (Sacred Heart) and Saly Kizhakkekuttu (St. Mary’s).

THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION

The Women Ministry of Sacred Heart Church will be celebrating Thanksgiving on Sunday November 28th after thanksgiving Holy Mass at 10:00 A.M. Mass. Free food of differ-ent countries will be served along with fun games for couples and children.

YOUTH MINISTRY SEMINAR AT MORTON GROVE

Our first youth ministry seminar for St. Mary's Knanaya Catholic Church will be conducted on November 13th Sat-urday. This is for all from 9th grade through 12th grade. The subject for the Seminar will be "How to make your life meaningful" and will be given by the Chancellor of Syro Malabar Catholic Diocese of Chicago, Rev. Fr. Roy Kaduppil. Registration fee is $ 5. The youth will be divided into three or four groups based on the suburbs that they are coming from and leaders for each group will be selected. We will assign Ushers for the Malayalam Mass on Sundays. The schedule and future plans for the youth ministry will also be discussed on the same day.

The schedule will be as follows: Inauguration by Fr. Abraham Mutholath at 9:30 A.M.

Seminar by Fr. Roy Kaduppil at 10:00 A.M. Planning Session with Fr. Abraham Mutholath: 12:00 P.M.
