Parish Mission Statement

We, diverse members of Holy Cross Parish, seek to build God’s kingdom on earth. United in pray-er, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and in com-munion with the Roman Catholic Church, we will serve, teach, and evangelize throughout the communi-ty. Using our time, talent and treasure, for the honor and glory of God, we strive to lead all to the ever-lasting light of Christ.

The Holy Cross Food Pantry provided food for 14 families in March. The pantry is still very well stocked thanks to your gen-erous donations, but we are in need of corn muffin mix. We ask that you PLEASE don't donate items in glass jars or bottles, if possible. Broken bottles make a terrible mess. Thank you so much for your continued support. The food pantry will be open April 13 and 27, 1-3 PM. La Despensa de Alimentos de Holy Cross propor-cionó alimentos a 14 familias en marzo. We aren’t really owners of anything, we are merely “stewards” of the gifts God has blessed us with. We are called to be grateful and generous with all of our gifts for the benefit of others.

Gabriel Project Report Dear Holy Cross Ladies: Do you hear St. Gabriel calling you to service? The Gabriel Project, needs Angels to help a mom through what can be very difficult time. But we also have a way for you to get involved in a way that requires almost no time and very little space. If you can store a small plastic bin filled with baby items, give me a call. I will stock the bin with items and bring it to your home with an inventory sheet. When one of our moms needs something, I will call you and pick it up. It may seem like a small thing, but believe me, it would be a big help. Think about it. Pray about it. Then give me a call at 469-971-4490. I look forward to hearing from you. Knights of Columbus Golf League. started on April 6, 2021 at 5:00 at Stewarts Peninsula Golf Course, at 100 Cotton Springs, in The Colony, Texas, and will conti-nue every Tuesday at 5:00 pm for 14 weeks. Pro-ceeds from the league will support our Scholarship Program for High School Students. The fee will be $24.00 which includes a $5.00 fee going to the scho-larship fund.
