for employees and students P arking All employees at NMBU, campus institutions that have a parking agreement with NMBU, (Vitenparken [the Science Park], SiÅs [Student Life in Ås], NIBIO [the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research] and ITAS) and students at NMBU must register their vehicles electronically before they can park at Campus Ås. Parking is free of charge! Signposting Most of the parking spaces are signposted for use by either “employee” or “student” while, in some parking areas, spaces are designated for both “em- ployee and student”. Within these areas, separate spaces have been designated for service vehicles, disabled vehicles, charging points and motorcycles/ moped. Important regulations The parking regulations apply every day of the working week from 08.00 to 17.00. A vehicle may be parked in the same spot for a maximum of 24 hours. Long-term parking for a period of up to one week is permissible at Kjerringjordet; see parking map. Employees and students can register more than one vehicle but the digital parking permit is valid for only one vehicle at a time. This means that households with several employees should make sure everyone in the household has a vehicle registered for parking on campus. Employees and students who need a disabled parking permit for a short period should contact [email protected]. Permanent permits are issued to students by SiT (Student information Centre) and employees by POA (Personnel and Organisational Department). Students must live more than 3 kilometres from Meierikrysset to be eligible for a digital parking permit. Parking at charging points A digital parking permit is required for parking at charging points outside the guest parking area, as Parking for employees and students is the case for other vehicles (owned by employees and/ or students). Several parking spaces have been created adjacent to each charging point. This is to facilitate charging a vehicle without the need to move it. Parking for loading and unloading Parking is permitted for loading and unloading purposes for a maximum of 15 minutes in front of all buildings. Parking for service vehicles Uniformed service vehicles (Ricoh, DHL, NMBU, etc.) do not require digital parking permits. Private vehicles used as service vehicles must be authorised by the relevant supervisor and the authorisation sent to [email protected]. All service vehicles are also permitted to park in employee spaces. Please contact [email protected] for more information. Special situations: teaching sessions, meetings and events In some situations, the above parking arrangements will be insufficient to meet the need that arises (seminars, teaching sessions, etc.) Please contact parkering@nmbu. no well in advance to find suitable solutions. Employee, student or visitor? In some instances, you may have more than one role or your role may change. It is important for you to contact your own unit to clarify your parking rights. Checks and parking finesParking company Q-Park regulates Campus Ås and manages the parking arrangements in accordance with private law rules (NMBU’s parking regulations).Information on appeals procedures is given on the parking fine slip.

Parking permit valid until 1 JulyPermits for employees and students must be renewed on 1 July each year. Information will be provided well in advance.

Statsbygg parking spacesStatsbygg has created parking spaces on campus. These are signposted and are only for Statsbygg and its contractors/manual workers during the construction period.
