The YMCA is not just a gym, it’s a
cause. We are dedicated to youth
development, healthy living and social
responsibility.
From exercise to education,
volleyball to volunteerism and
preschool to preventive health,
the YMCA makes Ashland, Ohio a better
place to live.
STRENGTHEN YOUR BODY STRENGTHEN YOUR COMMUNITY
BE A PART OF THE TRADITION
For over 100 years our staff and
volunteers have been proud to help our neighbors learn, grow and thrive! Yet we are called to do much more! Many Ashland area families are unable to afford a membership to the YMCA.
Our annual Partner with Youth Campaign
enables the Ashland YMCA to provide memberships to those who are in need. Because of generous donations, the Ashland YMCA
was able to help over 424 youth and/or families
last year alone!
WE CAN DO SO MUCH MORE BECAUSE OF YOU It costs approximately $250 to support a youth at the Y for one
year. That’s only $5 dollars a week!
This year we have increased our goal to $65,000! We are reaching out to our past supporters to encourage their friends in the community to help us reach this goal. Last year our campaign received gifts
ranging from $50 dollars to $3000. Every gift makes a difference, so please consider a contribution at a level that is right for you!
Please fill out and return your pledge card as soon as possible to help us reach our goal!
“My son Alex is 17 and he goes to the YMCA 5
days a week. Partner with youth has been a
huge help. Without it Alex would not be able to
participate at the Y at all.” - Ellen Black “Everybody there is so helpful and friendly. They don’t rate you based on your income, everyone is treated the same no matter what.” - Kandy Wagner, 63
