Think Outside the Box The AIM Companies™ is one of the greatest

secrets in the world. Imagine, twenty-nine years in the business of providing natural health products, including three key products that promote health, fight disease, and change lives for the better, and yet only a select few, a very small percentage of North America let alone the world, knows that The AIM Companies exists.

AIM is stepping up to change this, and we ask all our Members to “Think Outside the Box” with us and share the AIM greens, essential fatty acids, and fiber with all those who seek a better quality of life. Currently, we are working on an infomercial that will create a greater presence for AIM.

Dr. Mary Ruth Swope, AIM Chairman’s Club Director, has been a featured guest on LA Talk Radio three times within the last six months, and her last show received 2.2 million hits. The AIM Companies did some great advertising on this segment.

For the first time, AIM Director Tom Coffin appeared on Ada Marie—The Golden Oracle show out of Boston, and the topic was Seven Biblical Foods, of which barley was one.

There are people out there hungry for answers, and we who are a part of AIM have some of those answers. This is a CALL TO ACTION. Check out the opportunities in your town or city: talk radio, community papers, school fairs, farmers’ markets, trade shows and segments of society that need additional health support, such as hairdressers and car mechanics. Support your downline by sending out a monthly or bimonthly newsletter. Short and sweet is fine.

Need inspiration? Join us at the 2011 AIM Convention in Seattle. We are here to help. Call us to kick around ideas.

2011 belongs to AIM. All-natural AIM Barley-Life ®, AIMega® and AIM Herbal Fiberblend® can change an ailing world!

Think outside the box and make a difference. BE ALL YOU CAN BE.

Rose Bird Chartered Herbalist and General Manager of AIM Canada™

Note: Rose Bird will be a guest on LA Talk Radio’s Aging Outside the Box radio show on May 12, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. (MT).

From the dawn of our existence, the earth has provided us with every nutritional requirement for our bodies. AIM’s rich source of greens in AIM BarleyLife® and AIM LeafGreens™ and the omega-3 and -6 essential fatty acids (EFAs) in AIMega® all come from the earth. On a daily basis, greens and EFAs replenish vital nutrients our bodies need to live our days in good health.

Greens from the EarthJust before turning to grain, young barley

plants contain their peak nutritional value. This is when barley grass is harvested to become BarleyLife—one of the most nutrient-rich green supplements on earth. Its natural, easily ab-sorbed vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxi-dants, phytochemicals, and chlorophyll nourish your cells, reduce inflammation, and contribute to a non-acidic body environment.

The earth produces a wealth of leaves bursting with nutrients. AIM discovered a method of extracting this leafy nutrition to create LeafGreens—the concentrated juice powder of spinach, faba bean, field pea, and barley leaves. By combining four different types of leaves p l u s broccol i sprouts, AIM has provided a potent green supplement unique to the

marketplace. Along with a rich source of vitamins, minerals, and chlorophyll, LeafGreens also delivers the antihistamine, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory benefits from two flavonoids, quercetin and kaempferol, and the organosulfur compound, sulforaphane.

Essential Fatty Acids from the Earth

Essential fatty acids are the key components of healthy cell membranes and their functions. EFAs must be a part of your daily diet because omega-3 and -6 cannot be produced by your body. Only a limited amount of foods contain EFAs, so supplementation is essential. AIM selected the organic oils of flax, sesame, and sunflower seeds to formulate a balanced 2:1 ratio of omega -3 and -6. you are made of cells, so nourish them with AIMega.

Reaching the Million Dollar Club in December 2010 came as a pleasant surprise for AIM Blue Diamond Director Kimberley Smith. However, Kimberley is ready to soar even higher. There is no end to her enthusiasm for life and God and for the joy she has found as a single mother of four: twenty-year-old Alyssa, seventeen-year-old Andrew, fifteen-year-old Peter, and twelve- year-old Geoff.

AIM has had a huge impact on Kimberley and her family. Receiving a monthly check from AIM has greatly contributed to raising children on her own, and she is delighted that the legacy will transfer to her children.

For Kimberley, the health benefits are most important. “All of my kids were on AIM products before they were born,” she explained. “They just didn’t know it.” Kimberley feels that the products continue to mentally help her children by keeping their minds sharp and clear for staying on top of their lives. “Taking AIM products has

got to have something to do with it. It’s more than only physical health.”

Her daughter Alyssa graduated from Bible college and lives in North Carolina with her husband, Jesse Archer,

who is a pastor. For her three sons still living at home in Barr ie, Ontario, AIM plays an integral part of their active lives—going to school, participating in church activities, socializing, and, in

particular, playing sports. Twelfth-grader Andrew will graduate from

the Heritage Christian Academy this year with several university scholarships. As a result of his skill in playing soccer, he has been invited to train at the Passion Foot – Stage de Football International Training Center in France. Independently spirited Peter is in his sophomore year and plays hockey in a house league. And her youngest boy Geoff is in grade seven at the academy and, like his brother Andrew, is an exceptional soccer player who has been scouted by the French Football Federation. In November

2010, both Smith boys were the top performers at a soccer tournament in Indiana.

In fact, young Geoff has played soccer all over North America and in Europe. Wherever he goes, Geoff takes his regimen of AIM products: AIM BarleyLife®, AIMega®, AIM Proancynol® 2000, AIM Frame Essentials®, and AIM Peak Endurance™. He has learned from experience that he has to take them. The nutrients from these products give him a lot of energy, so Geoff notices a huge difference without them. With four training days a week and at least one or two weekly soccer games, Geoff is in great shape for a twelve-year-old and can successfully compete against fourteen-year-old boys.

Last fall, Geoff suffered a hairline foot fracture that normally requires a healing time of six to eight weeks. By taking his AIM products, he recovered in less than two weeks. One year ago, his brother Peter battled a far more serious health issue when a lump that appeared in his neck was diagnosed as lymphoma, which Peter has overcome with a lifestyle that includes exercise, a healthy diet, and nutrition from AIM. Using AIM products to improve the health of others was a choice that Kimberley made years before the births of her children.

In the 1980s, Kimberley and Devon Smith, a chiropractor and her husband at the time, opened a practice in Bracebridge, Ontario.

Those were the days when John Heimbecker (currently an AIM

Star Sapphire Director) was bringing truckloads of AIM

barley juice powder across the U.S. border into Canada. Kimberley’s in-laws, AIM Royal

Emerald Directors Cyril and Jean Smith, sent them the incredible

green powder because, at that time, Kimberley was suffering

from severe menstrual cramps and taking

extremely expensive

supplements to alleviate the discomfort. “I really liked the BarleyLife,” stated Kimberley, who felt so much better after taking the product that it was introduced to their patients.

In 1987, the Smiths opened up a practice in Barrie, and it was not long before 90 percent of their clients were taking both BarleyLife and AIM Herbal Fiberblend® because of the healthy results that they experienced. “Nutritional health should be a part of our lifestyles after working on the alignment part of our bodies,” explained Kimberley, and their AIM business blossomed as a result.

Forty-five-year-old Kimberley credits her incredibly youthful appearance to the years of taking AIM products and by keeping pace with her children. She has lots of energy and no health issues. “I feel great!” exclaimed Kimberley. “Whatever my children do, I do, so I play a lot of indoor soccer. My children take up most of my time.” Along with the family’s AIM business, Kimberley loves running her house-cleaning service for seniors. “I do what God wants me to do, but I’m not perfect. We’re all pushing through life doing the best we can do, setting goals, and achieving those goals.”

Having witnessed her children’s achieve- ments with the help of AIM products, Kimberley plans to introduce AIM nutrition to a younger

generation. “If Geoff can do it, there’s no reason why ten-year-old kids on up can’t.” Kimberley believes that excelling in sports, reaching the Million Dollar Club, or any other endeavor in life can be accom-plished. “Be consistent

with ev-erything in life, and

whatever your be-

liefs, strive to be the

a b s o l u t e best.”

“After I had a test done that showed my pro gesterone levels were high and my estrogen was low, my

doctor insisted on using drugs to get me through menopause. I mean, that’s what doctors do, right? I tell you, the hot flashes were hell, and I felt like I was in it!

“My husband and I have been taking BarleyLife for many years. It boosts our immune systems, so we rarely get sick. So I decided to try natural products. I’ve been on RevitaFem and AIMega for about six months, and I have to say that they’re

helping me. And I’m in a better frame of mind instead of always being cranky.”

Utah Hogan, AIM Group Builder New Waterford, Nova Scotia

“I’ve been having menopause for ten years, but Rose Bird (Chartered Herbalist and AIM Canada™ General Manager) got me started early on RevitaFem, AIMega, and BarleyLife. Although I do have occasional hot flashes, they last for under a minute. I get a flushed face, as though I’m instantly under a sunlamp—my own personal summer. I always know when it’s coming on, but then boom…it’s gone. And no night sweats—I never wake up drenched in perspiration. I swear it’s because of these products.”

Janet Johnston, AIM Member Vancouver, British Columbia

Hot flashes are hellish. Any woman who has experienced being overheated from the inside out knows this all too well. Going through menopause can bring on many other unpleasant symptoms, such as night sweats, irregular periods, and mood swings.

As the female body reaches middle age, changes occur in the reproductive system, resulting in a hormonal imbalance—fluctuating levels of progesterone and estrogen. It is a delicate balance that each woman must approach for her uniquely individual needs. Nevertheless, menopause is a natural transition in a woman’s life. Along with lifestyle changes, such as diet, exercise, and an awareness of environmental toxins that can impact your hormonal balance, AIM can provide a natural approach for a comfortable transition.

A Natural Approach to Menopause

Menopausal symptoms can be relieved by three natural products—AIM RevitaFem®, AIMega®, and AIM BarleyLife®—that work together to help extinguish the flame that ignites your hormonal furnace.

RevitaFem is a blend of botanicals that are scientifically proven to help regulate and balance your body systems affected by menopause. AIMega provides an organic source of omega-3 and -6 essential fatty acids, which are vital for every cell and, consequently, a necessity for your body and its multitude of functions, including hormonal balance. BarleyLife is a whole-food concen-trate that contains a wealth of nutrients—vitamins, minerals, enzymes, anti oxidants, phytochemicals, chlorophyll—for good health through out your lifetime, especially during menopause.

The benefits of this combination of natural products are shown in the positive results that AIM Members have experienced.

After the Olympics and World Championships in 2010, J.R. took a

much-needed break from competitive skating to pursue some of his other interests. Along with taking time to totally recover and heal from his devastating skating injury, he has been able to do something that few Olympic athletes do while still in their competition years. J.R. has determined what he will do once his skating career comes to an end.

Since J.R. has always been interested in music—hip hop in particular—he has become a young entrepreneur by starting a production company with some partners. Currently, they are working on a documentary called The Otherside, which they intend to release this summer. The documentary is about “the other side” of hip hop—the human aspect that few understand outside of the younger generation. It focuses

on artists from Seattle to help expose the local hip-hop scene. Eventually, J.R. intends to turn this keen interest into a career in the film and music industry.

Now living in Hunt ing ton Beach, California, J.R. is getting in shape for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, by running, working out in the gym, and light skating. As expected, he has set high goals for himself. With the help of his coach Wilma Boomstra, who is an AIM Preferred Member, J.R. plans to return to the ice in full swing by May so that he can pick up where he left off last season.

During this break, J.R. has also taken time to refine his entire nutritional package, the center

of which remains the AIM products. As in the past, AIM nutrition will certainly continue

to power him on to continued success in training and future competitions.

We all need a daily amount of protein in our diets to provide the amino acids our bodies require to build, maintain, and replace the tissues of our muscles, organs, and immune system. Made from low-allergen, gluten-free field peas, AIM ProPeas™ is a low-fat, vegetable source of protein. Each serving provides 12 grams of protein, so not only is it a healthy alternative to acidifying meat, Propeas is far less costly on both your budget and your body pH.

ProPeas is also an ideal protein supplement for those who exercise regularly or want to maintain an ideal body weight. It contains essential building material for lean, healthy muscles and provides a feeling of fullness after consuming, so you are less motivated to snack.

“For a nutritious and filling smoothie, I mix one

scoop of ProPeas, one scoop of fit ’n fiber (U.S.), a half scoop of AIM FibreBalance® (CAN), about a third of a cup of oats, some frozen fruit, and about a third of a cup of almond milk. I drink it mid-morning and mid-afternoon. If I don’t take it, I’m very hungry between meals. It also helps to stabilize my blood sugar levels. I also take nutrient-rich AIM BarleyLife®, but I drink it separately from other AIM products to optimize its benefits and to maintain my body’s pH balance.”Anitra Donald, AIM Director Surrey, British Columbia

“We chose ProPeas after we found out about AIM from a friend who

recommended AIM Herbal Fiberblend®. Now if we’re out of ProPeas, we miss it, so we often make a special trip to AIM to pick some up. Actually, my husband is always asking me if I’m going to get AIM products because essentially they’re our breakfast. It boils down to the amount of protein and the flavor. We make a drink using ProPeas, BarleyLife, and a banana. This is embarrassing to say, but it’s the healthiest thing we do all day.” Karren and Jerry Neal AIM Preferred Members, Nampa, Idaho

PRODUCT / TESTIMONIAL

Our bodies con tain over 100 trillion

bacteria in the diges-tive system, and as is the case in any big group, not everyone gets along. Bacteria have both “friendly” and “unfriendly” class -ifi cations, and when the balance is thrown off and the bad

bacteria dominate, digestive trauma ensues. One such condition is irritable bowel syndrome

(IBS), which affects as many as one in ten people worldwide. IBS manifests itself in a number of different ways—diarrhea, gas, bloating, constipation—and its diverse symptoms make it difficult to pinpoint a remedy. The latest research points to the importance of bacteria.

Restoring the order of the intestine with probiotics is an increasingly effective option for IBS sufferers. Probiotics, or “friendly” bacteria, counteract the unfriendly bacteria while providing other benefits like aiding digestion, cleaning the digestive tract, and more.

To find the right probiotic, you need look no further than AIM FloraFood®. Its special blend of three powerful friendly bacteria include Lactobacillus gasseri, Bifidobacterium bifidum, and Bifidobacterium longum, and each have an important role in the IBS battle. Lactobacilli alter the intestinal environment, making it unsuitable for unfriendly bacteria. Bifidobacteria longum and bifidum contribute to regularity, boost the immune system, and aid in the production of B vitamins.

Together, these three friendly flora make FloraFood an ideal probiotic formula and a welcome answer to IBS. If you find yourself suffering from colon unrest or irritable bowels, fight the friendly fight with probiotics and FloraFood.

FloraFood’s friendly bacteria also lend a helping hand to the side effects of antibiotics. Lactobacilli and bifidobacteria help recolonize the intestine, lessening the gastrointestinal distress from courses of antibiotics. AIM Preferred Member Sharon Pogasic, of Steelton, Pennsylvania, shares this story about FloraFood’s impact:

“About eight years ago, my husband Gene was clearing out some poison ivy on the front bank of our property. He is very allergic to it and has been most of his life. Unfortunately, the oils got onto his clothing and consequently on his skin. The absolute worst of it was on his thighs. He developed cellulitis, and his one thigh started to swell up fiercely. He was due to travel across Pennsylvania to a relative’s within days, so I urged him to seek medical help. His doctor gave him shots of a cortisone drug and an injection of an antibiotic and prescribed an oral antibiotic for two weeks.

“Generally, he tolerates any kind of medication very well. However, after about one week of the oral meds, he started to complain about feeling ill and having stomach pain. My aunt and upline, Georgia Zugay (AIM Group Builder, San Antonio, Texas), was in town and gave him a few capsules of FloraFood. She explained how to take them, and I started him on them immediately. He was skeptical at first, but after just a day or two, the illness and stomach pain left. He took the rest of the capsules and recovered nicely.

“Now whenever my family has to be on an antibiotic, I make sure to have FloraFood on hand for them. It made my husband into a believer, and that’s saying something!”

All this and more takes place in the vibrant and picturesque city of Seattle, so this convention is shaping into a ‘must attend’ event.
