With the City’s summer events season running from October through to April, it provides a fantastic opportunity for the local community and those from the broader Perth metropolitan area to enjoy outstanding performances and activities. Every year, the City’s summer events attract large crowds and the awareness in the community of these outstanding events continues to grow.

Music in the Park concerts are held in beautiful suburban parks where residents and visitors can picnic and relax under the stars. The City’s flagship events – the Valentine’s Concert and the Joondalup Festival – have become iconic and popular occasions where local residents and visitors can enjoy world-class entertainment in their own backyard, while the Little Feet Festival provides a day of free entertainment and activities for children under 12 and their families.

As attendance and the reputation of the City’s events grow, so too do opportunities for the valued partners of the events. Benefits of becoming a City Summer Event PartnerThe City’s summer events program presents an opportunity for businesses to align with a vibrant range of events that engage directly with communities and customers in Perth’s booming northern corridor and beyond. More than 80,000 people attended the City’s 2017/2018 summer season of events.

It offers non-stop entertainment celebrating the arts, food and music and delivers an outstanding range of exciting and engaging cultural experiences and entertainment for the local community and Perth metropolitan area.

Combination PartnershipAgree to partner one of the summer events for the next three years and you will receive a 10% discount for the following two years, locked in at the 2018/2019 price (payable annually).

If you agree to partner more than one event with the City of Joondalup in 2018/2019, a 10% discount will be offered for each subsequent partnership agreement that is of the same or lesser value.

These discounts do not apply to in-kind partnership arrangements.

Please note that only one brand mark can be applied to event materials.

Bespoke Arrangements The most successful partnership arrangements are those which help meet the objectives of all parties. You know your organisation and its objectives best; and the City is open to and supportive of working with you to develop a customised opportunity to suit your marketing needs and budget.

Each year the City hosts Little Feet Festival, one of Perth’s most highly anticipated and popular children’s events, with activities and entertainment for children under 12 and their families.

Little Feet Festival provides an afternoon of free entertainment and activities suitable for children from toddlers through to 12 years old. The event focuses on participation and community ownership, with a program full of high-quality, fun, hands-on activities to challenge, entertain and excite children in a beautiful, natural outdoor setting.
