Proverbs 19:19 “A hot-tempered person must pay the penalty; rescue
them, and you will have to do it again.”
THREE TYPES OF ANGER DEALT WITH IN THE BIBLE:

Proverbs 14:17 “A quick-tempered man does foolish things…”

Proverbs 19:3 “People ruin their lives by their own foolishness and then
are angry at the Lord.”

HOW TO OVERCOME ANGER IN THE HOME:
I MUST ___________________________ MY ANGER.
Ephesians 4:25-26 “Stop lying to each other; tell the truth. When we lie to
each other we are hurting ourselves. If you are angry, don’t sin by nursing
your grudge.”
I MUST ASK __________________________ TO HELP ME.
Hebrews 4:16 “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with
confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our
time of need.”
I MUST BE LIKE ______________________________.
Galatians 5:19-25 “The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality,
impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord,
jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy;
drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those
who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the
Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those
who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and
desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let
us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.”
