Kirk was born on September 23, 1968 in Heraklion, Greece. He

arrived in the United States with just his suitcase and $1000 in his

pocket.

Did you know that as a young man he was an instructor at the Gene

Kelly Dance Studio where he taught the Rumba, Samba and many

other arduous dance steps! He was also a radio and TV host which

later led to his work as DJ in some local tavernas in Greece. The most

surprising unknown fact is that Kirk was a Special Forces Green Beret

in Greece, specializing in explosives and snipers! Look out y’all!!!

Kirk and his lovely wife DeDee live in Peachtree City, Georgia. They

met through work at Delta when Kirk was First Officer and as his flight

attendant, DeDee served him café! They dated for 5 years and were

married in 2006.

When Kirk is not in the Captain’s seat at Delta, he enjoys playing

soccer twice weekly (he actually played professionally!) and serving in

the Altar with Fr. George and fellow Altar Servers.
