SERVER-BASED DYNAMIC TOOLSThese innovative, customizable tools combine the best features of an on-line web tool coupled with the power of Excel. Best of all, you don't need to purchase a system or subscribe to an expensive outside vendor--you already own the powerhouse program: MS Excel.

Add custom forms which allow for an infinite number of high-functioning possibilities. Forms are intuitive and can use control

interfaces which allow Users to quickly view data or carry out automated tasks with ease.

Connecting workbook tools to your company database allows multiple Users to access and update data in real time-- much the same way web tools work.

Changing data in a cell immediately sends the update to the company server. Data is saved in a central database, not the worksheet itself, reducing instances of "silo"

data systems.

Custom buttons on the worksheet allow for automated reports and

other features.

User Guides help Users to understand how the tool

functions.

"I've been an Excel VBA Developer for over twelve years, working within many major companies, and the one major constant among them

all is that Excel is a vital and even critical tool in daily use by virtually every employee throughout the entire company. And yet, within

most IT Departments, Excel is often "looked down upon" as a kind of base or limited End User tool that is treated more like a necessary

evil than an effective platform from which anything truly useful or complex is possible.

But the truth is that Excel is arguably the most adaptable, the most powerful, and the most amazing business tool in existence-- not to

mention, possibly the most widely used program on earth. Microsoft Excel is a tool-making-tool that is rarely utilized to its fullest

capabilities. For this reason, I am often a kind of ambassador of the program, showcasing the incredible potential among both experienced

Users and neophytes. I am proud to say that as an Excel Developer, I have built innumerable tools both basic and complex which astound

Users with their elegance, their speed, efficiency, and their unprecedented capabilities. And Users are mostly awestruck when they realize

that this powerhouse program has always been available to them, but that they simply did not know what was possible beyond the basics."

Most external systems download data into spreadsheet format, allowing for easy convergence when importing data sets from

outside sources.

Buttons can run SQL queries from any centralized company SQL or MS Access

database, generating instant reports directly on the spreadsheet-- no more downloading

and re-formatting reports!

Server security systems may be custom-built by identifying Network IDs and passwords to

determine levels of access.Admins can be given autonomous

governance over User access levels to individual tools.

Excel is capable of building powerful custom tools. One of Excel's greatest features is its adaptability and

flexibility. Using VBA, Excel can create an infinite number of quick and efficient solutions for any Department.

POWER TOOLSMost times, Excel is rotely used as a depository for data. Tables and lookup formulas. And yet, Excel has the unprecedented power to create amazingly adaptable tools which can perform a wide variety of tasks and functions.

This tool, the "HR Hiring Tracker", was built for Recruiters in a Human Resources Department to help manage and track the progress of

Applicants through a complex hiring process. The tool was connected to the company SQL server, allowing multiple recruiters to share, update,

and view records in real-time.

This tool, the "DM Store Visit Survey", was built for Managers to review physical stores. The tool was connected to the company SQL server,

allowing multiple recruiters to share, update, view records, and generate reports in real-time. Managers could also pick-up where they left off on incompleted surveys, tracking the progress and level of completion for

each survey.

Able to generate "canned" reports at the push of a button.

DASHBOARDS & REPORTINGOf course, where Excel really shines is in its revolutionary ability to calculate and present results.Dashboards and other types of dynamic reporting are its forte, even for most other programs and online systems. "All roads lead to Excel."

INNOVATIONS of the IMAGINATIONNo two Excel tools are the same. With Excel's amazing adaptability, VBA's range of ability and ease of use, and hundreds of spreadsheet tools and functions, virtually any tool is possible. The only limits are those of the imagination.
