    perineal pouch - Spongy urethra: runs along length of penis and through corpus spongiosum - Urethral crest: ridge flanked on either side by prostatic sinuses. Ridge enlarges to

    become seminal colliculus. Grooves on either side of seminal colliculus are called prostatic sinuses. Opening on midline of seminal colliculus is called prostatic utricle. An ejaculatory duct opens on either side of the prostatic utricle.

    Artery Inferior vesical artery

    Middle rectal artery

    Internal pudendal artery

    Vein Inferior vesical vein

    Middle rectal vein

    Internal pudendal vein

    Nerve Pudendal nerve

    Pelvic splanchnic nerves

    Inferior hypogastric plexus

    Lymph Internal iliac lymph nodes

    Deep inguinal lymph nodes

  • Ductus deferens, ampulla, seminal vesicles

  • Urinary bladder Surfaces: superior, posterior, inferolateral Other: detrusor muscle, trigone, internal urethral orifice, rectum (ampulla, transverse rectal folds), anal canal, external and internal anal spincter

  • Urinary bladder: apex, body, fundus, cavity

  • Anorectal flexure ( about 80 degrees)
