Due to variety of reasons, the able group of the population tends to be

more active away from Chuen Wan; leaving the elderly, the young and

perhaps the unfit to stay behind, forming a gap in the district.

To bridge an vital age gap in the society - "Neighbourhood Rejuvenation"

"Rejuvenation of the missing link" the missing link

* here means the missing of the vital age group.

CONCEPT

PROGRAMME

Base on all the research done, we have concluded "three parts" of

development, they are:

· The Milk Bar (Social place for the youth)

· The Flea Market (bargain exchange for the elderly)

· The DIY Recycling Centre (a place for the value of old receive revaluation,redressed and introduce to the young)

The concept of this project is based on the term "work-life balancing", which aims to create spaces allowing users

to balance between work and life. Other related terms may include "lifestyle calm balance" and "life style choices".

After several phases, we noticed that a good building needs to con-sider about the balance point between green and urban design.

We started from the social problem of Sham Shui Po. There are severe air pollutionquality, lack of leisure area for the elderly. Besides this there are also Subdivided Unit and Poor Hygiene.

We set the shopping mall facade with the green wall since it can provide different advantages.Such as , Interior Temperature Regulation, Facade Protection and Ventilation.

Provide on leisure area and cultural communication area are the elderly are key element of our design , Funthermore, Sham Shui Po have their own characteristics, so we provide the cultural communication area on order to preserve this kind of culture.

ART WORKTHIRD YEAR ( INDIVIDUAL PROJECT )2012 - 2013

HONG KONG INSTITUTE OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION (TSING YI)

One is standing and the other sitting, and they are placed among various objects, including

a red mask and staff, an allusion to Melpomene and Thalia, the Muses of tragedy and comedy.

At the front are the two Muses, dressed in classical clothing.

The Castello Estense, near which de Chirico lived, is in the background, rust-red and among

industrial buildings.

The statue on a pedestal in the background is Apollo, leader of the Muses.

The Disquieting Muses was painted during World War I, when De Chirico was in Ferrara.

The drawing was decomposed to five layers. i want to use the five layers to

project a 3D feeling to the drawing, the principle similar to the 3D TV or movie.
