Transformation of Social Care
Putting People First
In 2007 the Government created a concordat, an agreement between departments, which outlines the major changes across all social care and health services in the country.
The agreement sets out to transform all public services, to give the people who use those services greater choice and more freedom to do the things they would like to. In Leicestershire Adult Social Care, we call this vision Promoting Independence, Changing Lives.
