A local from Bretton, Mike’s local

knowledge and standing in the business

community in Peterborough will be an

enormous asset as the Club moves

forward both on and off the field.

Mike has worked hard to achieve his

success within the business world, and

is now in a position where he is turning

his attention to helping others achieve

their goals. He does this by sharing his

stories and experiences through his

inspirational public speaking, and his

personal and professional mentoring.

Mike's dedication to helping others was recognised in 2011 when he was asked by Channel 4 to be one of their Secret Millionaires. As well as being an incredibly successful entrepreneur and angel investor, Mike is also a Director/Chairman of nine companies (including Dot.com, trade associations, charities, wholesalers, marketing and retail organisations), a global retail/shopper consultant, an international speaker, a professional mentor, a philanthropist, an endurance adventurer, a passionate

charity fundraiser and a dedicated family man.

It is with regret that I have to announce that Lee Adamson

has decided to leave the club.

We have risen 2 leagues in 3 years under his guidance,

and he will be missed around the club.

On behalf of all the club, I wish him well and success in his

next position and for the future.

I am delighted to welcome to the club Darren Fox, he

played over 170 first team games for Northampton Saints

and had spells with Cambridge and Bedford Blues.

He comes as a player coach and with his excellent

pedigree, has pledged Division 1 in 4 years.

Darren will team up with Adam Barnard, who joined us

last season. He also has an excellent pedigree having

played for Saints, Cambridge, in New Zealand and the

States. Barney will be leading the coaching whilst like

Darren, will also be playing.

John Humphrey will be assisting the first team coaches as

team manager .

In the coming weeks I shall hopefully be announcing

many more quality additions to the ‘Lions Family’ so

watch this space.
