Introduction

Petro Nuhr Emirates FZC is a division of Petro Nuhr Group of companies with offices in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Chennai, India and Ajman, UAE. The Petro Nuhr group has an established repute and is a major player in industries such as Forex, Travel related services, Base Oils (Trading ) and Lubricants manufacture(automotive, industrial and Specialty petroleum products).

These lubricants and specialty petroleum products are manufacture and formulated using selected and highly refined virgin mineral base oil stocks. These, are then blended with top-of-the line and superior performance additive packages, sourced from highly acclaimed additive manufacturers. Many of the products are the versatile and have multipurpose applications. In the engine oil category, the products meet API service, applicable for both diesel and gasoline. The engine oil grades are available in both multi-grades and mono-grades to meet all types of customer needs and the oils ensuremaximum performance and protection to the vehicles and engines.

This Lubricant brochure, gives a brief about the company and its range of products. A Lube Handbook, available separately and on request, gives a detailed Technical specification of the Petro Nuhr Global range of products; it contains the Product Data Sheet (PDS) which provides, relevant in-depth technical details and the specifications of the product.

ISO 3448 Viscosity classification

The ISO viscosity classification is recommended for industrial applications. The reference temperature of 40.C represents the operating temperature in machinery. Each subsequent Viscosity grade (VG) within the classification has approximately a 50% higher viscosity, whereas the minimum & maximum values of each grade ranges ±10% from the mid point. For example, ISO VG 22 refers to a viscosity grade of 22 cSt ± 10% at 40°C . The viscosity at different temperatures can be calculated using the viscosity at 40°C and the viscosity index (VI), which represents the temperature dependency of the lubricant.
