Competitive advantage:

In response to the latest trends in agriculture, Russell develops biorational products in-house, subjects them to rigorous testing and trials them around the world. Since 2009, the company has been at the forefront of tackling the pan-Eurasian spread of Tuta absoluta, the tomato leaf miner. Russell IPM has developed pheromone lures, sticky roller traps and solar-powered traps to suit every application. It worked with... with African governmental agencies to train farmers in pest prevention and eradication. In 2017, Russell IPM is leading the way in providing a monitoring trap for the Fall armyworm. Following field trials, Russell’s research specialists have identified the most effective strand of the insect’s pheromone and have developed a lure that successfully targets the pest.

Other company products include award-winning sticky roller traps with specially developed colours and patterns, sticky board traps targeting specific insects, as well as biopesticides for different crops and climates.

Russel has invented and manufacture a range of novel solutions for stored product insects’ management in line with the latest industry trends. Our best-selling mating disruption system for moth control in large food manufacturing and storage premises, Dismate PE, comes in four colours for each season and is a hit around the world.

Environmentally sensitive pest controlis achieved through pheromone-basedand digital technical innovations. Russell’s unique slow-release and long-lasting pheromone delivery formulations can be used within a variety of monitoring and control traps and remain effective for up to 12 weeks.Our public health products include two plastic traps with digital remote control via Bluetooth or server that create reports on a phone app. Professionals can choose between the digital systems for rodent control iPest and iPest Plus, and iMouse, each of which monitors rodent presence and communicates in real time with the user’s phone, producing professional pest control reports if necessary. The iPest and iPest plus are most suitable for professional pest control, while the iMouse is an economical trap for monitoring private and smaller public space that communicates with smart phones via Blue-tooth.

Our expertise in stored products insects’ management starts with the novel insect glue technologies we develop and their integration within traps. We produce insect and rodent behaviour modifying chemicals (pheromones, attractants and repellents) and design traps that offer complete public health protection, from detection to monitoring and control.Secondly, our mating disruption system for food manufacturers incorporates a special system for the controlled release of pheromones that covers each of the four seasons in the year. We guarantee precision and control of pheromone dosing by employing the latest automated technology. Our pheromone formulation facilities benefit from a GC-FID and GC-MS and to prolong the shelf life of our semio-chemical solutions, we have invested in micro-encapsulation technology. Last but not least, our analytical lab is the source of continuous product optimisation. An advanced printing facility for custom made products and natural material based biopesticides manufacturing is operated on the premises on a daily basis.


Dismate is the mating disruption system that dispenses pheromones of Plodia ephestia and other food storage moths for around-the-year protection and infestation removal.

The Diamond Trap works with pheromones and is

designed to create easy-to-read results without the

need for insect identification skills. The trap provides an

early warning to potential infestations and maintains

a stable release of pheromones over a period

of 4-6 weeks.

Russell IPM’s Xlure FIT system, part of the Xlure range of monitoring traps, is discrete and effective against clothes moths and fabric beetles.

The Xlure range includes the MST trap, which is pre-baited with the pheromones of 12 common crawling stored products insects to enable early pest detection and recognition.


The Xlure RTU is a ready-to-use trap for the detection of Tobacco, Almond, Raisin, Mediterranean Flour Moths & Cigarette Beetles. As with other similar traps, the pheromone in its sticky walls lasts 6 weeks.
