As part of the refurbishment of Edinburgh Dental Hospital for NHS Lothian, we successfully carried out the £35k soft flooring package. This project involved the installation of Forbo Tessera carpet tiles to the office area, Altro Smooth Chrysalis vinyl flooring to the reception area, Altro Suprema Safety Flooring to the toilets with Forbo Marmoleum sheet vinyl throughout the main surgery areas.

The works were carried out over a period of 3 weeks ensuring extremely high standards of cleanliness at all times.

Dollar Academy

Location: Dollar Academy, Dollar, Clackmannanshire


Material: Ege Carpet, Altro Walkway, Forbo Marmoleum - Artoleum Piano

We delivered a £30k soft flooring package at Dollar Academy as part of the finishings within the £900k fit-out contract to create a sixth form centre for students and the refurbishment of Hayworth Boarding House.

All flooring works were successfully carried out within a very tight 2 week programme during school holidays in order to minimise disruption to staff and pupils and to allow the pupils to move back into the refurbished boarding house in time for the start of the new school term.

The sixth form centre was completed using Forbo Marmoleum Artoleum Piano sheet vinyl to the recreation area and Ege Highline carpet to the IT Suite.

Ege Highline carpet was installed throughout the rooms and corridors within Hayworth Boarding House with Altro Walkway sheet vinyl safety flooring to the bathrooms.

HBOS Group Property

Royal Bank of Scotland

Location: The Royal Bank of Scotland, Gemini Building, 24/25 St Andrews Square, Edinburgh


Material: Forbo Carpet Tiles, Amtico Maple Stripwood

We carried out the £110k soft flooring contract across all six floors of the Royal Bank of Scotland Gemini Building as part of the £5 million major refurbishment project of the whole building.

The main office and corridor areas were completed using a range of Forbo carpet tiles. Forbo Surestep anti slip vinyl and Amtico Maple Stripwood was installed within the vending areas.

Work was carried out over a four week period to suit the main refurbishment programme.

The Dutch Championship Golf Course

Location: The Dutch Championship Golf Course, Spijk, The Netherlands


Material: Carpets of Kidderminster, Grosvenor Wilton Royal Carpet, Vorwerk Damoni

The Dutch Golf Club was the location for a new golf course designed by world renowned golfer Colin Montgomery. We were delighted to be awarded the £80k flooring package for the new club house.

Carpets of Kidderminster specially designed and manufactured the “Dutch Tartan” carpet which was installed in the locker rooms and the “Made in Scotland” tartan carpet which was used within the corridor and bar areas.

The staircase was completed with Grosvenor Wilton Royal carpet with Vorwerk Damoni carpets laid within the other areas.

All carpets were installed on Durafit underlay with Altro Proof Duo two part surface damp proof membrane treatment on all new concrete subfloors.

The installation was completed in a series of stages totalling 3 weeks on site.
