Portable traffic lights will be on site and motorists may experience delays up to 5 minutes. Please exercise cauon, observe road signage and road condions. Road Condion; Council would like to advise motorists that flood damage rehabilitaon works and post-harvest maintenance grading is in progress on the unsealed road network of the Shire. Please exercise cauon, observe road signage, road condions and as always drive accordingly. Road Closures; All Shire roads are open at present. Please contact Councils Engineering and Technical Services Department if you wish to discuss or report any problems relang to roads within the Coolamon Shire 02 6930 1800 Council with the support of REROC have recently installed a Community Recycling Staon at the Coolamon Library. The staon allows residents to recycle various household problem wastes. Items that are able to be recycled at the staon include: Household Baeries Smoke Detectors Mobile Phones and accessories Fluorescent Globes Join us to celebrate Australia Day 2018 in Ardlethan. Kicking off with a free community BBQ breakfast from 8.00am with the official Australia Day Ceremony starng at 10.00am, where local cizens will be recognised for their valued contribuons to the community. Local Roads Update

Road Works; Council would like to advise motorists that heavy rehabilitation works are to be carried out on the following Roads:

Official Opening of New Pool Amenities

Local community members, Councillors and Council staff welcomed member for Riverina, Michael McCormack MP to Ganmain and Ardlethan to officially open the upgrades to the public swimming pool amenities. With the funding from the Community Development Grants Programme and the NSW State Government Public Reserves Management Fund, the Coolamon Shire Council have upgraded the amenities at the Ardlethan and Ganmain Pool’s and filtration at the Ganmain Pool. Mayor John Seymour stated that

“As we all know the community

pool is a focal point for children and

families during the hot summers

within our region. Coolamon Shire

Council proudly operates three

pools within their communities.

These facilities are used by schools,

swimming clubs, learn to swim

activities, birthday parties”.

The Ardlethan pool also celebrated

50 years of operation, a significant achievement.
