Welcome to the Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC) Business
Apprenticeship Program guide to joining and participating in the Trello
group. Trello is a software tool used to remotely manage team projects
and organize a diversity of project information formats. The following
guide will help you get started in participating in the exchange of
information.
Joining Trello & the Project Board You should have, at this point, received a link to the Trello board either by email or through a PowerPoint presentation. If you have not received a link, or if the link is not working as shown below, please reach Jason Leslie (contact information to the left).
Step 1: Receive Access Board Link Click the received link to reach the landing page below:
If you already have a Trello account, click Log in to access the board. If you do not have an account, click the Sign Up button.

Step 2: Create an Account This will take you to the form pictured on the left. Fill out the form using your chamber or organization email address. Once you have created your account, you will receive an email confirmation. (Please note this can take up to 15 minutes).
Click the link pictured in the email, which will open a browser window/tab to the project board. If you do not confirm your email address, you will receive the following message when attempting to access the board:

Step 3: Board Access Access to the board will look like the photo below (Note: The background/lists/cards may look different based on the current board content).
The board is organized primarily into three sections:
1. The left-most lists are resource lists, containing information on various subjects, including how to utilize Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Value Proposition Canvas (VPC) to provide a project framework template that can be used to replicate or iterate a project.
2. The Card Template list contains a single card that can be used as a form to fill in project information as noted.
3. The right-most lists contain Ongoing Projects, and Finished Projects. These can be used as examples of how to complete a project card, as well as to provide a framework to perform a similar project.
Please take some time to orient yourself to the board and the information available on it, and contact Jason if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
