OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The structure is able to guarantee the inspection of the
plant, the personalized study both for gas conditioning
and for the equipment.
The installation of the lines and equipment is carried outby specialized technicians equipped with all the necessary,followed by teams of instrumentalists for the start-up andcertification of the plant and an assistance staff active24/7 from the central office.
Cryotek also provides on-site training courses to instructstaff on both the process functions of the plant and itsimplementation.
Cryotek Eng has alwaysbeen involved in the total design of
the gas systems for glass treatment systems, from the
cylinder bunkers to the molds area.
His attention has also been diversified to serve the
workshop area with cutting and welding gases and analysis
laboratories with process gases and gas chromatographs.
It is Cryotek's responsibility to analyze the environmental impact and the compliance with national and international
regulations.Particular attention is given to PED and ATEX regulations
where required.

LUBRIFICATION OF MOLDSACETYLENE FOG
The system consists of a I stage decompression group complete
with a pressure reducer for high flow rates, interception valves,
high and law pressure gauges, VARF, by-pass, fire painted metal
box with gas transit band, stainless steel manifolds from two
work stations with valves always in stainless steel for connection
to the cylinders packs, line pressure switch, decompression
group II stage complete with shut-off valves, reducer, pressure
gauges, VARF, by-pass and explosion-proof solenoid valve
complete with three stainless steel by-pass valves, 2-meter
stainless steel / teflon connection hoses complete with fittings
and brackets or stainless steel pipes, and injector complete with
ball valves for flow regulation, non-return valves and solenoid
valves for manual reset.

Is the solution designed for ecological treatment instantaneous
TIG welding, laser, MIG pulsed arc, orbital, plasma.
The advanced technology of this treatment, through an instant
electrochemical reaction, guarantees pickling, passivation and polishing any
welding on stainless steel, regardless of surface finish, ensuring a very high
quality and total operator safety.
Only through total control of each phase of the welding process maximum

Cryotek Eng has created and patented some of the mostefficient safety systems for gas conditioning plants.
Safety is not intended as a set of equipment but as a real concept that preserves the work environment, the operators and our home. Precisely for this purpose in several years of study experiments and simulations the Quasar System has been created.
Quasar system is a security system designed specificallyfor the reference plant and on a careful and precise comparison of the direct or concatenating causes at the base of an accident by gas leaks.

QUASAR
BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO HAZARDOUS GAS SYSTEM:
▪ Cryotek eng is a company specialized in transmission of high-riskgases and tends to propose high-tech solutions with the aim ofminimizing risks on the plant.
▪ The plants are usually made of pipe-in-pipe, so the main pipe inwhich the gas is conveyed will be covered outside by a tube with alarger diameter to contain any leaks of the conveyed gas which, inthe case of asphyxiating gas, explosives and more generallydangerous, they can cause damage to the environment and to
personnel.To connect the different sections of the system and to close theflaps of the shirt pipes, protective containment structures areinstalled, patented in specific composite materials, in order tofacilitate the inspection of the weldings on the main line.
▪ Spacer discs are inserted between the main tube and the outerjacket, able to support the weight of the pipe and limit itsmovement, as well as to minimize the pressure drops in case ofevacuation of dangerous gases, and the jacket is normallyinterrupted only in correspondence of the weldings of the mainpipe, to allow the relative annual and five-year compulsory checksas per current regulations.
PROTECTION SYSTEM AND TUBE COVER
▪ The need to guarantee the absolute safety of combustible andcomburent gas systems inside the ships has led us to design andinvent tube covering groups (or shells) that are placed on thecontainment tube of the mother tube that carries the gas. Thetube covering assembly comprises at least two covering elementswhich can be assembled together forming a sleeve-body, inparticular, but not exclusively for covering a fluid passage tube.
▪ These “shells” have a dual function:
1) Ensuring the integrity of the jacket itself, and therefore in the event that there was a leakage from a weld or a pipe rupture, the gas would be conveyed through the jacket and exhaust chimneys to a safe area;
2) Refine the current constraining means to make their assembly / disassembly quick and easy to inspect once a year or, as with ships once every five, the state of the mother tube welds and make the binding action reliable mutual between the flanges.
➢ We believe that this application can also be used in civil and in land-based systems (onshore), where often the leakage of combustible and comburent gases causes fires and explosions. For example, we could take large companies such as glassworksor companies where heat treatments are performed.
➢ These shells were invented and designed by Cryotek Eng Srl(patent No. 0001429368) with specific materials compatiblewith Oxygen, Acetylene, Hydrogen and Co2 and at the momenthave a seal equal to 0.5-0.6 bar. This estate can of course bebrought to higher values by replacing some small principles toclose them.
The heart of QUASAR is a centralized analysis system, able to
detect any gas leaks in the environment, with sensors placed
inside the protection jacket, to identify exactly where the leak is
and intervene.
Basing on the extent of the loss, the system is able to detect
three alarm thresholds, each of which is followed by different
types of alarms and actions, by an acoustic and sound warning
alarm to the operators of the line or station, to a remote block
of the entire system and a purging in case of more serious
losses.
The system is also completed with gas interception panels,
equipped with pressure detection, gas sampling and purging
systems, capable of isolating only one section of the pipeline, to
allow operators to identify the gas leakage without causing a
plant shutdown.

System logistic:
The system will start when a seismic event verifies by carrying out a series of actions aimed to preserving personnel and structures.
An electropneumatic control system powered by nitrogen (at least 5.6 bars), following an earthquake detected by the device, will have the task of carrying out the switch of the system operating to static by performing
a check of all the manned areas and system subjected to the QUASAR system.
The control unit will be set up with a second line of control to guarantee an intrinsic security of the adaptive surveillance system which, in case of detection of gas leaks in production department, exceeded the maximum level of security LIE will activate the equipment dedicated to
the survival and safety of personnel.
The system is complete by a PURGING LINE powered by nitrogen at a pressure higher than the process to guarantee a purge on the line in an accurate and total way. Carrying piping process gases in the ATEX area
outside the production complex.
