INTRODUCTIONWINTER 2011/2012COLLECTION

With over 450 brands, 10,000 visitors and 8000 buyers, the PITTI BIMBO well and truly confirmed itself as the leader in the area of children’s fashion.

The fair confirmed the main Carlin trends for Winter 2011/2012 for colors as well as shapes and materials.

POINTSFORTSTENDANCE COULEURS / KEYCOLORTRENDS

A lovely portrayal of reds: baked, tile, rust, or brighter (Scenery, Reinvention)Black is a key point for girls, as well as for babywear collections, in contrast with white.Neutrals are represented by beiges, grays and khakis (Territory, Charisma)The essential chiné gray is worked for all ages, for girls and boys.Purples, parma, and faded raspberry for girls are still present for boys.Layette pink and blue pastels are slightly gray-cast in the spirit of our Territory story. And still lots of navy, mainly for boys.

Carlin loved a new range at the fair: The Japanese brand  ”Mou la coton”for babies, with soft, gorgeous fabrics, extra-soft polar fleece, double knitting. The shapes are worked with mixed fabrics and asymmetric details.

We also loved the brand ”Scotch and Soda” and its ranges for girls with a Scotch R’belle line, and for boys with Scotch Shrunk. These feature the trompe l’oeil details that have made the adult lines so successful, fabrics with “vintage” treatments and a lovely “Indian tribe” theme for girls.
