About  the  Rivals  Event

Chari3es  That  Benefit  From  Your  Par3cipa3on                                                              Just  Rivals  Golf  Classic  has  made  a  commitment  to  military  causes,  par3cularly  those  that  help  the  families  of  fallen  heroes    

educate  their  children.      To  date  over  $450,000  has  been  distributed  to  select  causes.    Children  of  Fallen  Patriots  Founda3on:  The  mission  is  to  provide  college  scholarships  and  educa3onal  counseling  to  military  children  (from  all  branches  of  service,  pre-­‐  and  post-­‐9/11)  who  have  lost  a  parent  in  the  line  of  duty.  We  are  dedicated  to  serving  the  families  of  combat  casual3es  and  military  training  accidents  as  well  as  other  duty-­‐related  deaths  (to  include  suicides  and  illness-­‐related  deaths  if  deemed  in  the  line  of  duty).    Na3onal  Guard  Associa3on:  The  Na3onal  Guard  Associa3on  of  New  Jersey  was  established  to  support  the  men  and  women  of  the  New  Jersey  Army  and  Air  Na3onal  Guard.    The  mission  of  the  NGANJ  is  to  secure  the  most  effec3ve  benefits  and  resources  to  our  members  and  families  so  they  can  provide  world-­‐class  service  in  support  of  our  state  and  na3on,  to  foster  and  improve  rela3ons  between  the  Na3onal  Guard  of  New  Jersey  and  the  general  public,  and  to  promote  professional  development,  friendship,  understanding  and  coopera3on  among  our  members.

The First FedExCup Playoff Event

General Howell M. Estes III was the 146th Four Star General in the U.S. Air Force, serving from1965-1998. At CINCNORAD, General Estes was responsible for the air sovereignty of the United States and Canada, as well as for providing tactical warning and attack assessment. At USCINCSPACE, he commanded the unified command responsible for directing space control and support operations including theater missile defense. At COMAFSPC, he directed satellite control, warning, space launch and ballistic missile operations missions through a worldwide network of support facilities and bases.

The general entered the Air Force in 1965 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He has commanded both operational and maintenance squadrons, the Air Force's only stealth fighter unit, an air division and numbered air force. Prior to his current position, he served as director for operations (J-3), the Joint Staff, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C. A command pilot with more than 4,500 flying hours, he flew 169 combat missions as an F-4 pilot during the Vietnam conflict. During the Gulf War he served as deputy chief of staff for operations, Strategic Air Command.

General Howell M. Estes III

In addition to a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Air Force Academy, he holds a Master of Arts Degree in Public Administration from Auburn University and is a graduate of the Program for Senior Managers in Government at Harvard’s JFK School of Government. General Estes III joined the Board of Directors of Digital Globe in 2007, and in February 2011 was elected to serve as Chairman of the Board. General Estes is the President of Howell Estes & Associates, Inc., a consulting firm engaged primarily by aerospace companies worldwide. General Estes previously served on the Board of Trustees for The Aerospace Corporation, a provider of technical and scientific research, development, and advisory services to national-security space programs, and now serves on the Boards of Directors of Analytical Graphics, Inc., a software development company focused on spaceflight and national security, and the Air Force Academy Foundation
