Finding Plant Information Using the Library’s Databases:
Go to the Library’s Website at http://library.lehman.cuny.edu Click on Electronic Databases
Then click on the first letter of the name of database you wish to search
Look for the database in the alphabetical list displayed
Click on the database name to launch the database
Gale Virtual Reference Library A collection of electronic reference books covering everything from the arts and history to medicine and the sciences. It contains 41 medical reference sources and 55 science reference sources. Good database for background information for lab reports. Advanced Search

The * after the word soybean is a wildcard that allows us to search for both the words soybean and
soybeans at the same time.
Off-Campus Access to the Library’s Databases: To access the Library’s databases from off-campus you will need to enter your Lehman
e-mail account username and default password after clicking on the database name.
