Bacon is also made in states considered the Upper South. These states include Virginia,

Kentucky, Tennessee, and North Carolina.

The Ozarks

Bacon is also made in the Ozarks, which are in southern Missouri, northwest Arkansas

and eastern Oklahoma.

Other meats need additional seasonings, spices and sauces.
