Dear Fox River Grove Resident,The Village of Fox River Grove has entered into a contract with Prairieland Disposal to be your new waste hauler which becomes effective February 1, 2020. We are a local, environmentally conscious waste and recycling hauler serving the greater Lake, McHenry and Cook counties and are excited to provide service for a cleaner, greener Fox River Grove!

Our mission is to provide the residents of Fox River Grove with honest service-oriented collection. We take waste reduction seriously. Our state-of-the-art collection truck uses a “ONE-PASS” system, which collects garbage and recycling at the same time. Collecting two materials in one truck decreases the amount of fuel and energy used and reduces traffic and emissions on roadways. This truck is also designed to be lighter than the trucks that most disposal companies use. Our experienced friendly drivers operate clean, environmentally friendly trucks that run on biofuel, reducing emissions. Prairieland Disposal will provide the following services:

• Unlimited residential waste and recycling collection – Service includes a 95 gallon toter for garbage and a 65-gallon toter for recycling. If you would prefer different toter sizes, please complete and return the attached card, or submit a request on our website. • Senior Program – Limited senior citizen service is available for residents 65 +, – Service includes a 35 gallon toter for garbage at a 38% discount.
