1. Open Internet Explorer, and navigate to https://portal.thehortongroup.com
2. Click on "I agree with the Citrix license agreement. (check box)"
3. Click “Install”
4. Click on “Run”
5. Installation will run. When installation in is complete, click OK.
6. Add the Citrix Website as a Trusted Site (Click Here for Directions)

1. Open https://portal.thehortongroup.com
2. Click the Green Install button
3. Once the download completes, double click on “citrix_online_plug_in.dmg” in the File
Download Box
4. Click on the Install “Citrix Online Plug-in.pkg”

5. Click Continue in the installation dialog box
6. Click Continue in the Software License Agreement window
7. Click Agree
8. Click Continue
9. Click Install

10. You will be required to enter the Master Password for your Mac to allow changes.
11. Once you have entered a valid password, installation will complete
12. Click Close
13. Navigate to www.ehorton.com/software
14. Click on the blue link labeled “Horton XenApp Portal.crt” to download the security certificate
needed to connect to Horton.
15. Double Click on the file in the downloads list.
16. This will open an application called KeyChain.

17. In Key Chain, click on Login under the Keychains heading, and select certificates under the
category.
18. Double Click on the Network Solutions DV Server CA certificate on the right
19. In the dialog box, expand the Trust section
20. Under the top option “when using this certicate” select always trust
21. Close out of KeyChain.
22. You may now open safari and go to https://portal.thehortongroup.com and access citrix.

2. Tick the check box to agree to the software terms
3. Click the Green Install button
4. Click Run in the File Download Box
5. The Software will begin downloading. Speed will vary based on your internet connection speed.
6. Click Run in the Popup Window

7. Software will begin installing
8. Click OK
9. After Clicking OK, the browser will refresh, and show that the appropriate client software is
installed. If you don’t get the login box, close and re-open internet explorer and open
https://portal.thehortongroup.com
10. Add the Citrix Website as a Trusted Site (Click Here for Directions)
Adding Citrix As A Trusted Site
***To verify the version of Internet Explorer you have, click on Help, then about
Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8
1. Open https://portal.thehortongroup.com
2. Click Tools and Select Internet Options
3. Click on the Security TAB
4. Click on Trusted Sites (Green Check Mark)
5. Set Security Level to “Low” (drag slider bar to the bottom)
6. Click On the “Sites” button
7. Click Add
8. Click Close
9. Click OK

2. Click on the Gear in the upper right Corner and
Select Internet Options
3. Click on the Security TAB
4. Click on Trusted Sites (Green Check Mark)
5. Set Security Level to “Low” (drag slider bar to the bottom)
10. Click On the “Sites” button
11. Click Add
12. Click Close
13. Click OK
Mozilla Firefox: 1. Open Mozilla
2. Open https://portal.thehortongroup.com
3. Click on tools and select Options
4. Click on the Security TAB
5. Click on Exceptions
6. Enter https://portal.thehortongroup.com in the
address field
7. Click Close
8. Click OK
