• Books today credit Captain Cook for discovering Australia and New Zealand…

• However, Captain Dalrymplye objected to this

• Cook couldn’t of had discovered Australia since already had maps that showed the continent.

• Chinese actually traveled there as early as the ninth century for natural resources

• But Captain Cook was an amazing navigator and succeeded with flying colors with what ever he did
