The Plumbobs – an OWBCChapter 8

Page 2: Plumbobs chapter 8

Hey there readers! Since you last saw us the triplets have had a birthday, although as you can see Rhys, Lainey and Pip are still as gorgeous as ever. The toddler years absolutely flew by, although they were certainly hectic!

Page 3: Plumbobs chapter 8

The kids have to max three skills and three interests each as children for the Golden Trio challenge, so they are all working on their creativity skills. They all maxed mechanical when they were tots so they have plenty of time to max creativity and also logic or body. Kana and I figured those skills would be the easiest and most fun for them.

Page 4: Plumbobs chapter 8

However I imagine even painting isn’t that fun when you have the ghost of your grandma jumping out at you!

Page 5: Plumbobs chapter 8

Nowhere is safe from Mam’s ghost, it doesn’t seem very happy. We decided to move Mam and Mum’s graves up into the attic, the ghosts were giving the kids nightmares.

Page 6: Plumbobs chapter 8

Ah, here we have some close ups of the kids, and I guess I’d better introduce them properly. Lainey here is an active little scorpio with a bit of a mean streak, although she doesn’t show it often. Her interests include, toys, entertainment and sports.

Page 7: Plumbobs chapter 8

Pip is an extremely outgoing aries who likes toys, animals and travel. I expect he’ll have no problem whatsoever in making friends.

Page 8: Plumbobs chapter 8

And Rhys, our very nice and active pisces, is interested most by entertainment, the paranormal and sci-fi.

Page 9: Plumbobs chapter 8

With the kids not requiring so much attention I got back to researching alien abductions, and decided that having a go on the dance sphere was the best option, and it worked! I don’t remember it at all, I thought I was just on the dance sphere for a bit but I went back inside Kana said I had totally disappeared for hours!

Page 10: Plumbobs chapter 8

The next day one of the kids bought home Sophia from school. Do you recognise her? Not that you should, you’ve never actually seen her before, but she’s Oscar and Pamela's daughter! She looks a heck of a lot like her mum.

Page 11: Plumbobs chapter 8

Kana and I made sure to teach the kids how to study properly after just their first day at school, they need all the help they can get if they’re going to be a truly golden trio.

Page 12: Plumbobs chapter 8

I loved having the kids grown up, it meant that Kana and I had the evenings free to spend together once the kids had gone to bed, and all day too while they were at school!

Page 13: Plumbobs chapter 8

It soon became obvious that it wouldn’t be that peaceful for long. I had horrendous morning sickness, but Kana really was all that sympathetic. She told me to “man up”, after all women go through pregnancies all the time, and hers was worse as she was carrying three kids! Boolprop I hope I’m only having the one …

Page 14: Plumbobs chapter 8

I’m so happy for Kana, she’s managed to max her tinkering enthusiasm, and she only set fire to herself the once!

Page 15: Plumbobs chapter 8

The triplets also have to make three best friends each, and one day they each bought a friend home from school. Pip easily became friends with Phoebe Newson, and Rhys with Gina Cooke, but Lainey and Destry didn’t really get along.

Page 16: Plumbobs chapter 8

The moment I got my baby bump was weird, and I can’t really figure out where the baby is seeing as I don’t have a womb!

Page 17: Plumbobs chapter 8

Kana popped to the shops one afternoon to get some groceries and picked up some magazines too to help the kids learn about their interests. Of course, now Pip wants a puppy.

Page 18: Plumbobs chapter 8

Kana is a life saver, it’s really hard to bend down when your pregnant!

Page 19: Plumbobs chapter 8

The triplets all got their first A+ on the same day, I’m so proud of them. They’re such good students without Kana or I having to push them. And how identical are Rhys and Pip?! It’s a good job Pip’s hair is so curly otherwise I’d never be able to tell them apart!

Page 20: Plumbobs chapter 8

Pip wasn’t impressed when I told him the closest he was going to get to a puppy was a toy robot, I’ve seen him playing with it though and he loves it.

Page 21: Plumbobs chapter 8

Lainey loves all the celebrity gossip magazines, I just hope she doesn’t take them too seriously, a lot of the celebs don’t look like particularly good role models.

Page 22: Plumbobs chapter 8

After I got over the spout of morning sickness I quite enjoyed being pregnant, although Kana says I have terrible mood swings. I think she’s making it up myself, I can’t remember being moody at all.

Page 23: Plumbobs chapter 8

I like to blog about my alien abductions and my pregnancy. After all, aliens are fascinating and I’m not the only one who thinks so.

Page 24: Plumbobs chapter 8

The triplets and I had a discussion about how I came to be pregnant, they of course hadn’t been taught about it at school. Rhys was especially interested, what with his love of all things sci-fi and paranormal.

Page 25: Plumbobs chapter 8

Lainey and Pip aren’t really that close, so we got them to play chess together. Lainey though, is a cheater. Pip was not impressed and eventually stormed off.

Page 26: Plumbobs chapter 8

Winter seemed to last for ages. The kids even had a snow day, which they spent studying of course.

Page 27: Plumbobs chapter 8

While Kana decided to surprise me with a song in the snow.

Page 28: Plumbobs chapter 8

And then it was time. I’m still not quite sure where she came out, it’s all a bit of a blur, but it wasn’t long before I was holding a gorgeous, and very unique little girl in my arms. She was tiny, a tiny little dot, so I named her Dotty, and she is this generations bad apple.

Page 29: Plumbobs chapter 8

It’s a blessing to have a little one around the house again, I know Kana has missed it, she loves kids.

Page 30: Plumbobs chapter 8

The kids didn’t seem too bothered about Dotty, they said she was boring! I can see their point though, she doesn’t exactly do a lot yet.

Page 31: Plumbobs chapter 8

Not like the triplets! They’re always playing and dancing in the morning before school and on their study breaks.

Page 32: Plumbobs chapter 8

Lainey and Rhys were the first to max the creativity skill.

Page 33: Plumbobs chapter 8

Pip was the first to max logic, and Lainey wasn’t too far behind. That gave her free time to do whatever she wanted, and she likes to dance.

Page 34: Plumbobs chapter 8

And in no time at all it was time for Dotty’s first birthday. We didn’t throw a party but we still got her a cake.

Page 35: Plumbobs chapter 8

I gave her some smart milk and she then learnt to potty in one go. Now she can pretty much look after herself, as long as we feed and play with her once in a while she’ll be fine.

Page 36: Plumbobs chapter 8

Dotty managed to break the toy robot and Kana told her off for it. Kana swears Dotty just levitated up to almost eye level and giggled. I’m not sure I believe that, her mind must’ve been playing tricks on her.

Page 37: Plumbobs chapter 8

I’d say Dotty is a very outgoing little girl, she certainly loves attention. She follows me almost everywhere and barely touches her toddler toys.

Page 38: Plumbobs chapter 8

Rhys managed to max logic too, I’m so proud of them all, clever beans they are.

Page 39: Plumbobs chapter 8

Dotty really doesn’t have much luck with the robot, though that’s probably because she plays with it more than the triplets put together.

Page 40: Plumbobs chapter 8

She also likes to dance to the radio, and play in the toilet. I don’t know what she finds so fascinating about it.

Page 41: Plumbobs chapter 8

Pip maxed his skills too and likes to spend his spare time on the ballet barre, actually all the triplets do but there’s not room for all three of them at once!

Page 42: Plumbobs chapter 8

Kana dotes on Dotty, treats her just as if she were on of her own.

Page 43: Plumbobs chapter 8

She even taught her to talk.

Page 44: Plumbobs chapter 8

While I tackled the walking

Page 45: Plumbobs chapter 8

When Dotty’s not stalking people she likes to play with the blocks. She’s never touched the activity table or the xylophone. In fact, she seems to have a natural affinity for science.

Page 46: Plumbobs chapter 8

I’m still working on my tinkering hobby. I figured the train set was less likely to catch fire if it was covered in snow, although it was so sold I couldn’t stay out for long at a time!

Page 47: Plumbobs chapter 8

The next day it was time for the triplets to grow up …

Page 48: Plumbobs chapter 8

Lainey grew up, looking as beautiful as ever. She’s a fortune/romance sim and she dreams of being head of the SCIA.

Page 49: Plumbobs chapter 8

Rhys’s face changed quite dramatically when he aged up, but he’s still a good looking lad. He’s a popularity/pleasure sim who wants to be a lawyer.

Page 50: Plumbobs chapter 8

And Pip still looks just the same as Rhys. He’s a fortune family sims who wants to reach his golden anniversary, just like Kana.

Page 51: Plumbobs chapter 8

I think I’ll leave you here with a gorgeous photo of my nephews that Genesis sent me. On the left is Glenn, Oona and Jihoon’s son, and on the right we have Gen and Sam’s little boy, Lucas. And Isaac tells me that he and Sandy are expecting a baby. Mum and Mam would be so pleased.

Come back next time to see the triplets all made over and continuing with the Golden Trio challenges, and Dotty will grow up too!
