Pneumatic Removal and Filtering for Grinding, Polishing, Deburring and Brushing Processes

Central extraction of brushing machines

Grinding produces emissions of fine dust particles which even using the most advanced production technolo-gies are im possible to avoid. Collect-

ing and removing these fine dusts by suction is often required for techni-cal, product-specific, environmental and legal reasons. Handling these

fine dust particles is often made even more difficult by the fact that they can represent a health hazard, be toxic or even carcinogenic.

Keller Lufttechnik has many years of experience and extensive know-how in pneumatic removal and filtering of fine dust particle emis-sions. The modular design of our

filtration systems and their compo-nents lets us offer you the best possible solution for your specific purposes.

The collection of dust particles depends on the specific production process. For optimal collection of fine dusts they should ideally be sucked up at the point of origin. Correctly

designed and dimensioned collector elements ensure that only a minimum volume of air is required, thus mini-mizing your investment and operating costs.

• Individual consulting based on our wide range of experience

• Efficient pneumatic removal and filtering of ultra-fine grinding dust

• Protection of the workers in the workplace

• High-efficiency filtration technologies, depending on specific requirements

• Recirculation of clean air through ultra-low residual dust levels

• Constantly high airflow due to continuous cleaning with compressed air

Advantages

KLR-Filter®: powerful and energy-efficient

Head gasket

Trouble-free flow of recirculated air due to high separation efficiency

High rigidity created by pleating the filter material that forms separate filter chambers

Flow- and wear-optimised frame construction

The original Keller KLR-Filter® set a new service life record in this filter design, with up to 120.000 cleaning intervals.

This superior quality was achieved with the choice of materials, and with our high-quality, state-of-the-art in-house manufacturing process in particular.

The surface of the self-supporting filter is big using a large number of pleats. The pressure loss and resulting energy demand decreases accordingly.

Overview of the various versions

Residual dust content: < 0,5 mg/m3

Residual dust content: < 0,1 mg/m3

Application temperature: up to 110 °C

Cleaning pressure: max. 4 bar

including addtitional PTFE membrane

in antistatic design

PWIS-free

Service life: up to 20.000 operating hours or up to 120.000 cleaning intervals; for 3 years max.*

KLR-Filter®: suitable for many applications

Due to their various characteristics, the new KLR-Filter® is suitable for many applications.

With their residual dust content < 0,1 mg/m3 the KLR-bran filter efficiencies surpass the E11 filter standard accord-ing to DIN EN 1822.

All configurations can be obtained with an IFA-M-test certificate for return air opera-tion according to the DIN EN 60335-2-69.

Pneumatic Removal and Filtering For Grinding, Polishing, Deburring and Brushing Processes

You‘ll find our systems in the most diverse applications, among them the plastics industry (FGRP/CFRP), the ceramics industry as well as in the metal industry, e.g. in grinding spring seats and in body-in-white shops.

We‘ll be glad to provide extensive references upon request.
