Thougthfulness

Thoughtfulness lives on Main Street Apartment 3BAlong with 7 of her dearest friends;

Pride, Friendliness, Spirit, Frustration,Envy, Freedom, and Enchantment

-Pride is always proud of all of her friends and herself no matter what the situation may be-Friendliness is always caring and helpful to everyone that passes by -Spirit has soul for everything and everyone on this earth surrounding her-Frustration always has something to complain about and seems to be stressed half of thetime-Envy is a bragger, always thinking of herself -Freedom is tough, a person that can do anything she wants whenever she wants-Enchantment has a very sharp mind and prances around gracefully…

do you believe in magic? She does.-Thoughtfulness is the smartest and brightest of all, always thinking of othersShe makes sure everyone lives in harmony She dreams that one-day she will make a better world full of wishesAnd hopes to go places she’s never seen beforeSo she can open up her mind to new things

Thoughtfulness is special… Like no one else…

Thought

Thought is advancedHe puts himself away

He’s there when you need him mostIf you can only find him

If you concentrate hard enough You’ll reveal his hiding place

When you panicHe speeds through your brain

Not giving you the chance to find him When you are sad

He taunts youAnd calls you names

When you are happy So is he

As he ambles around Thought can be your best friend

Or your worst enemy He is really a good person

And he loves To help you out

But your personality models his,So you better watch out!

Alone

Scared, alone, and forgotten Walking in a deserted amusement park Every time I walk by a ride, they seem to call my name What do you want? What have I done wrong? The shadows of clowns seem to jump out at me When I turn every cornerCould it be a ride, swinging out at me?My heart beating faster that ever, my palms are slippery,My steps are very hesitantI know I must leave this place soon.

The Door

As I walk down the hallI see a doorA door anything but ordinary.

It leads to a placeA magical place Where no one is safe

But no one is sorry. Where anything is possibleAnd weird things are never improbable To happen.

Friend or foeGood or bad This door should be more a window.Maybe even a mirror. It knows your strengths. It knows your weaknesses. It knows your fears. It knows your dreams. It knows your deepest darkest secretsAnd you are afraid it will belt out themBut it never has.It never will. The door is personal to everyoneAnd is unique to the person walkingthrough. The door can be many colorsAnd of many types. You should stand in the doorway And know everything you see. The door is a window To your mind.

The Sunken Ship

A diver, dreading descending,Hits the deck of the sunken pirate ship.

Bubbles whoosh by his ears

And he dives out of the way.Is that an octopus over in the corner?

Or is it just weeds? His footsteps clank on the deck,

And he steps, andF ALL

SDown the hatch.Fishes scatter and regroup,

In a land with almost no light.Something grabs the diver!

He struggles, wriggles,Does whatever it takes,

To be free.He slaps the tentacle curling around him,

And it recoils,Back into the inky blackness,From which it came.

Calming down, The diver sights,

The treasure chest!!!He lugs it back up the hatch,Straining with all his might.

He makes it back onto the deck of his own

ship,Glad that it hasn’t sunk.

Pride is the kind of girl who jumps in yourfaceShe makes you feel bad

When you don’t win a contest or a racePride works as a movie star,Her movies showing in theatres everywhere

Pride lives in an affluent neighborhoodShe welcomes you to her homeAnd shows you everything in her mansionEven when you don’t care about anything

that is therePride goes to the ice rink almost every week Showing off her new spins and tricksIn her lime-green outfit,She never falls down

When pride joins a club,She always has to be presidentShe thinks she’s the best of them allShe decides who comes in and outNo matter what they may say

Now,Pride still has not learned her lessonI do not know why Pride is still the kind of personMho jumps in your faceAnd makes you feel bad When you don’t win a contest or a race

I Want to be…

I want to be a blanket safe and warmcovering a soul in need of warmth.I want to be woven by a lady, a lady who

works long and hard for the warmth of people all over the world.I want to be laid on the bed of a child whois responsible for making his bed every day.I want to go on long trips, camping trips, maybe even be laid on the beach of California to let the little boy’s parents get alittle tan.I want to be a blanket.I want to be a blanket, I want to keep thelittle boy safe and warm while there are loudnoises outside.I want to be a shelter while the little boy ishaving a sleep-over, and reading a book witha flashlight.I want to have a warm bed to be on whilenobody is sleeping on it.I want to be a blanket.

Magic Door

There once a magic doorHidden away for years

I stumbled across itOne fateful day

And pulled the handleOld and rusty

A dazzling light shot at meBlinding me momentarily

A silhouette approached meIt was an orc

From the ‘Lord of the Rings’It took me on

And I took it downStole its swordAnd killed it

I ventured through The forbidden land

Of MordorFought all the demons

Killed all the orcsAnd reached the leader of evil

Was about to approach Then

POOOOOOOOF!I woke up

Clutching my table lampAnd flinging it around

Then I came to my sensesAnd saw

That it was a dreamI put my head upon my pillow And wished that it had been

Reality

The Old Man

Wrinkled skinAnd no kinOld and weary Dark and eerieA prison

A jailA cageA fusionOf sadnessAnd baldness Why am I here? And what did I do to deserve this?I do not want to dieI just want to fly

Although it is true That my fate is decidedIt is still good to think of what the jail guy stated The last thing I want is world peaceAnd to touch the feathers of my pet geese

Miles and Miles Of Road

All I see is miles and miles of roadI think how much I’d like to be a truck Golden and shiny with silver hubcaps and indestructible tiresAlong with unlimited gasI would be as fast as lightning and race anything that moved The wind in my face as I speed down the roadAnd I would go up and down hills like a roller coasterSlow at first and then zoom down like lightningI’d crunch over snow and rumble over rock Barrel through dirt roads and tumble past towers

Never stopping always moving until night comes Then I might pull over or turn on my headlightsIn the morning I take a good look aroundAnd all I see is miles and miles of road

I Want to be an Apple TreeI want to be an apple tree

I can look over the beautiful townsand cities

I can see and smellthe mouth-watering and red apples growing on my sturdy branches

I can see the beauty of the flowers decorated lying on meI can see the beautiful meadow that lies by my trunk.

I see other apple trees around me, but they still don’t look as beautiful as me.My trunk is always pleasant and sturdy I see the squirrels on my branches dashing around

I see the bird’s nest on my branchesI want to be an apple tree

Chrysanthemum

Waving in the wind,My feet rooted to the ground.

I want to be a Chrysanthemum,My petals bobbing

Up and down.My arms are the leaves,

Shaking off the bugs. The rain has come,As my roots wiggle

Back and forth.I feel the water

Rushing through my roots.I want to be a Chrysanthemum,

My petals bobbing up and down.Leaves shaking off the bugsRoots rooted to the ground,

Feeling the icy, cooling water

Freedom Taken

Taken from my heart,Ripped out of my soul.

Freedom was under my nose, but now;Under my feet.

Bars blocking me from the only thing thatmatters,

Jail is blocking me.

Jail,A freedom-napper, really.

The only thing left in my heart,Blood.

Blood,Blood doesn’t flow without freedom.

Freedom, Taken from me.

The Magic Door

Shines with an aura That nobody

Can quite place.If you enter,

You might be inFor a fright,

For thousandsOf little black ants

Are eating a picnic lunch,Underneath theFour-leaf clovers,

(Which really have two leaves)And miniature robotsAre not very happy,Having no oil and

Being stuck in the rain. Teakettles boil over the fenceAnd water runs in a marathon

And the piano cannot find The right key to open his house.

The moon is full tonight, Since he ate all the stew. Windows shutter in the cold,

And boxer shortsBattle for the

Championship.Skillets show skillAt almost nothing,

And books eat a reed.

But the silliest of all,Is that the tires are very tired!

Tiger

I sneak about in the shadows Waiting for something to come strolling by

I’m the tiger that roams this jungleI creep as quite as a leaf Floating gently down

The jungle is a dark placeFor all the trees that block the sun

The air is filled with soundsBirds flapping ,frogs croaking

The gentle stream slapping water against theshore

A new sound approaches With it comes many new smells

As I come upon itI see that it seem to be a moving rock

Suddenly the world spins and I drift to sleep To my surprise I wake in a cage

And look out a new world

A Door Like No Other

A brass handle;A handle like no other handle.

A wooden door;A door leading where no other door leads.

A blinding light;A light so metallic it gives a reflection.

The ironic past; The odd past whisking through me like I wasn’t there.

Me;Dreaming in my sleep.

I Want to be an Ice Skate I gaze across the slick ice rink How it feels like you’re flying on a cloudI want to be an ice skate, slipping and sliding through my own winter wonderland,I want to be an ice skate,How my laces drift out behind melike long luxurious hair, as I close my eyes and imagine thatI’m not only gliding on ice, but through agorgeous bright blue sky I want to be an ice skate, slipping, sliding, gliding for the rest of eternity

Joy

Joy is a jolly old fellow He’s chubby and kind and awfully mellow He gives all the children candy and sweets Joy buys us ice cream and says “my treat”

Joy is stout and has rosy cheeksPeace and happiness is the destiny he seeks

A big, warm smile always covers his faceHe’s the happiest fellow in all of the human race

When Joy walks around he says hi without a frownHe has probably shook hands with everyone in every town

Joy has pearly white ringlets of hairHe has a cute bunny who’s name is Claire

Joy is lovable Joy is fun

Joy is wonderful to everyone

The Magic Door I stride over to the closet doorNot knowing what’s behind it

It’s a magic door or so I think Every time I walk through it there’sSomething differentOne time it was the pastI was the mistress of the houseAnother time it was into a flowery Meadow With cows grazing here and there This time could be anything

Anything at allI slowly turn the old knob When I step inside and close the doorColors start to swirl They slowly form into…Into a land with sweet red rosesBlooming in the morning sunI hear a noiseI turn and look

Riding toward me is aPure white horseNo bridle to steer herNor a saddle to keep me on We gallop for hoursOr so it seems The pony runs toward the doorI close my eyes waiting for the crashIt never comes

Little by little I open one eyeNow the otherI’m standing in front of the door Whoa what an adventure

The Old Lady The tweeting of birdsRing in my ears.I poke the needleIn and outSewing another oneOf those hundreds of White, laced, puffy pillows.I close my eyes,As I sit in my almost broken, rickety wheelchair,In my little, pink room.

I think of my grandchildrenI think of my childrenI think, why? Why did my family put me?In this old, leaking house.

I look at the white tables,Raining with “Get Well” cards.I look out the window,At the aqua sky and the streaming lightthrough the trees.

I hear the sounds,I think of the people,I look at the trees. Why was I, To be put in this place?

Anger I watch Angeras he does his job

as an engineer and I Watch him as he doesHis hobby playing basketballScoring baskets every time he shoots

When he doesn’t scoreHe gets angry When he learns something When he struggles with itHe stomps his feet

But afterFew tries, he learns it Then one day I see him Wave goodbye to meAs he leaves meBecause he wasGoing to live somewhere elseI was sad, but I know that he has To go now or sometime now or laterAs I watch time go by I sit there and be bored sometimesUntil he comes and visit me We have a nice time until he leaves Then I am alone againBut we have a happy life together

The Magic Door

ou walk clumsily into some doorthat you find.

“Oh no” you cry, “somebody hasbulldozed my favorite area.”

You sadly cry into your shirt, and wish for an apple.

You look up after a while, and yousee a tiny little apple tree in the

opposite corner. You could have sworn that it wasn’tthere before.

You curiously wish for a drink o water, and miraculously a drinking

fountain appeared above you.Amazingly the door you went into

was the wrong door. You are happy as can be.

The Magic Door has leaded you tothe dream room. You can have anything that you

want. So it’s up to you, what are yougoing to do?
