Poetry Brochure As a culminating activity for our poetry unit, we will be creating individual thematic tri-fold brochures. These brochures will contain poetry with certain literary elements and at least two examples of personal poetry writing. These personal poetry examples must effectively represent the type of poetry assigned to the specific element or type of poetry chosen and must be designated as your personal writing. You will have an example of the following poetry types, elements and information in your brochure. 1. Universal theme as title of your brochure 2. Explanation of the universal theme on front fold 3. Picture representing theme on front fold 4. Acrostic poem using universal theme on first flap 5. Poem representing theme which includes a symbolism, imagery, simile, or metaphor 6. Poem representing theme which includes irony, understatement or paradox on back fold 7.Poem representing theme which includes alliteration on first inside fold 8.Poem representing theme which includes internal rhyme on the first inside fold 9. Lyrical poem or ballad representing theme on the middle inside fold 10. Poem with fixed form (any type of fixed form may be used if used correctly) on the middle inside fold 11. Poem representing theme on the back inside fold (your choice) 12. Sonnet representing theme on the back inside fold. Poetry BrochureAs a culminating activity for our poetry unit, we will be creating individual thematic tri-fold brochures. These brochures will contain poetry with certain literary elements and at least two examples of personal poetry writing.
