November 2014 The 4-H Poinsettia Sales are in full swing during the month of
November. All 4-H school club members should have received
poinsettia order forms in October. If you need another order
form, stop by the 4-H office to pick one up. Great prizes are avail-
able this year...any youth selling 5 or more will receive a pair of
4-H sunglasses. Any youth selling 10 or more poinsettias will re-
ceive a 4-H back sack. Any youth selling 20 or more will receive a
4-H t-shirt as well as the 4-H back sack and shades. The top 3
sellers in the county will receive cash prizes of $75, $50 and $25
for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. Please do your best at selling these holi-
day flowers to your teachers, family, friends, local churches and
businesses as the profits go toward sending you to 4-H camp,
buying awards and trophies for your hard work, funding teen
leadership trips, supplying educational materials for club work
and much more. Plan to pick up poinsettias to deliver to your
buyers on Thursday, November 20th from the Court-
house/Extension meeting room in Elkton anytime after 11 a.m.
All forms and fees are due by Friday, November 14th to the
FRYSC in your school or to the 4-H Extension Office located in the
Courthouse.
