Cal OES/CSTI Emergency Management Professional Development Workshops

EOC Position Credentialing Implementation Workshop: Now that the SEMS Advisory Board has approved the EOC Position Credentialing program and now approved to roll out, Cal OES is offering a workshop to discuss the components of the program and steps how jurisdictions can work towards meeting the standards. This workshop is focused on any organization that operates a DOC, EOC, and/or Coordination Center including government, private industry, volunteer organizations, and Tribal Nations. Q and A will be part of the discussion. Participants should leave with a better understanding of the program and action steps to meet the standard.

Emergency Management Career Credentialing Track: Cal OES has developed a draft Professional Development Emergency Management Career Credentialing Program. We are seeking feedback on the draft program. The discussion will focus on the draft career credentialing draft program. Feedback and discussion will assist Cal OES to develop a program for professional recognition of the Emergency Management community.
