Wise KidsThe Wise Kids Outdoors program offers children an opportu-nity to explore nature outside their door while teaching them about the importance of eating right and being physically ac-tive. Each Wise Kids Outdoors session sends your child on outdoor adventure missions, guided by trained staff. Missions teach participants about critters and bugs, stewardship prin-cipals of reducing, reusing, and caring for the earth, as well as exposing them to the natural environment around them. The concept of Energy Balance is woven into each lesson to inspire wise nutrition and activity choices. Your children will come away with a better understanding of how both humans and nature need to live in balance to be healthy. Each child will receive a backpack, magnifying glass, and a mission note-book. Bring a healthy lunch each day.
