Flukazole® C plus Selenium is a free flowing, ready to use product for the control of acute and chronic parasitic infestation (including two week old liver fluke) in cattle and sheep. Flukazole® C plus Selenium contains triclabendazole and oxfendazole, members of the benzimidazole family of drenches. The dose rate for cattle and sheep is 12 mg/kg of triclabendazole and 4.52 mg/kg of oxfendazole and 0.1mg/kg of selenium. Flukazole® C plus Selenium is safe for all classes of animals and has a high safety margin when used as recommended. Resistance may develop to any drench. Ask your local veterinary practitioner or animal health adviser for recommended parasite management practices for your area to reduce development of resistance. It is advisable that a drench resistance test be conducted before any drench is used.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Restraints: DO NOT USE in animals which are producing milk or milk products for human consumption. Contraindications: This product should not be used when selenium intake from pasture is high or selenium is provided by other means (such as pasture top dressing, vaccine, pellets or selenium drenches) or if blood selenium levels at treatment are high. Users can determine selenium status by consulting their veterinarian. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. CATTLE and SHEEP: 1 mL per 10 kg bodyweight orally. The dose of 1mL/10kg delivers 12 mg/kg of triclabendazole, 4.52 mg/kg of oxfendazole and 0.1mg/kg of selenium. Cattle in excess of 650kg bodyweight to be dosed at 5 mL per 50 kg bodyweight. Sheep in excess of 75kg bodyweight to be dosed at 1mL per 10kg bodyweight. A representative sample of animals should be weighed before treatment. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Restraints: DO NOT USE in animals which are producing milk or milk products for human consumption. Contraindications: This product should not be used when selenium intake from pasture is high or selenium is provided by other means (such as pasture top dressing, vaccine, pellets or selenium drenches) or if blood selenium levels at treatment are high. Users can determine selenium status by consulting their veterinarian. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. CATTLE and SHEEP: 1 mL per 10 kg bodyweight orally. The dose of 1mL/10kg delivers 12 mg/kg of triclabendazole, 4.52 mg/kg of oxfendazole and 0.1mg/kg of selenium. Cattle in excess of 650kg bodyweight to be dosed at 5 mL per 50 kg bodyweight. Sheep in excess of 75kg bodyweight to be dosed at 1mL per 10kg bodyweight. A representative sample of animals should be weighed before treatment. Dose the mob to the heaviest animal by liveweight in each group (bulls, cows, steers, calves; ewes, wethers, rams, lambs). Do not underdose. Where there is a large variation in size within the group, dose rate should be based on the label directions for each weight range. Drafting into two or more lines based on bodyweight may be appropriate, to avoid excessive overdosing. Wash equipment after use. Dose rate table (Cattle):

Reduces worm egg hatching for cattle and sheep. For this to be of benefit, animals should not be placed on clean pasture until 6 hours after drenching.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: In areas where Black Disease occurs, vaccination is recommended. Flukazole® C plus Selenium is a free flowing, ready to use product for the control of acute and chronic parasitic infestation (including two week old liver fluke) in cattle and sheep. Flukazole® C plus Selenium contains triclabendazole and oxfendazole, members of the benzimidazole family of drenches. The dose rate for cattle and sheep is 12 mg/kg of triclabendazole and 4.52 mg/kg of oxfendazole and 0.1mg/kg of selenium. Flukazole® C plus Selenium is safe for all classes of animals and has a high safety margin when used as recommended. Resistance may develop to any drench. Ask your local veterinary practitioner or animal health adviser for recommended parasite management practices for your area to reduce development of resistance. It is advisable that a drench resistance test be conducted before any drench is used. WITHHOLDING PERIODS: MEAT (Cattle and Sheep): DO NOT USE less than 21 days before slaughter for human consumption.

MILK (Cattle and Sheep): DO NOT USE in animals which are producing milk or milk products for human consumption. DO NOT USE less than 21 days before calving in cows or lambing in ewes where milk and milk products from treated animals may be used for human consumption. Where Flukazole® C plus Selenium is accidentally given within this period or should any cows calve or ewes lamb earlier than 21 days after treatment, milk will contain residues. This milk must not be used for human consumption, or supplied for processing for at least 21 days following treatment. Calves fed this milk should not be slaughtered for human consumption within 10 days. Lambs fed this milk should not be slaughtered for human consumption within 7 days.
