Thisactrequiresthatthiscampusdistributetheinformationcontainedinthisreport to all current and potential students and employees at least once ayear.ReportsareissuedinSeptemberforthepreviousyear.I.AssociatedTechnicalCollegepreparesthepoliciesandpracticessectionwiththehelpofCorporateStaff and informationcollectedby campusSecurityOfficers, theSchoolDirectorandtheEducation/RecordsOffice.

Names of victims andallegedperpetratorsarewithheldexceptwherelegallyrequired.II. CAMPUS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR STUDENTS AND OTHERS TOREPORTCRIMINALACTIVIESOROTHEREMERGENCIESONCAMPUS.
Studentsandemployeesareurged to report criminalactivitiesorother imminentemergencies promptly to uniformed campus security personnel. Alternately,criminalactivitiesmaybereportedtotheTitleIXCoordinator,theSchoolDirector,ortoanyinstructor ifneitherthesecurityofficernorDirector isavailable. Schoolpersonnelwillassistyouinreportingacrimetothepolicedepartment,ifnecessary.The statistical crime report accompanying this document lists the typesof crimesthatshouldbereported.
Sexoffences,includingrape,fondling,incest,statutoryrape,andstalkingoccurringbothonandoffcampus,datingviolenceanddomesticviolenceshouldbereportedtotheTitleIXCoordinator.Thepolicyappliestovictimsofeithergenderorsexualorientation.

III.TITLEIXPOLICIES,COORDINATORANDPROCEDURES
Title IX originated in 1972 as part of the educational amendments of the U.S.DepartmentofEducation. Amendmentspassedin2013dealwithviolenceagainstwomenandrequireschoolscoveredunderTitleIXtohaveprocedurestodealwithsex related violence. A school’s obligation to respond appropriately to sexualviolence complaints is the same irrespective of the sex or sexes of the partiesinvolved and include both student on student and employee on student acts.Employeeswhodealwithstudentsarerequiredtobefamiliarwiththepoliciesandproceduresandarerequiredtoreportactsofviolenceorclaimsofviolencetotheappropriate authorities, and to be aware of assistance that can be offered by theschool.Thisdocumentshouldbe retainedso that it canbe referred to if anysuchinstancesarise.
Although this amendment deals specifically with women, the same rights andresponsibilities apply equally to students, staff, faculty and other employees,women, girls, men and boys; straight, LBGT and gender‐nonconforming persons;personswithorwithoutdisabilities,bothfullandnon‐discriminatorypolicyappliestobothstudentsandemployeesineducationandallotheractivitiesthattakeplaceoncampus.Alsobarredareallformsofsexualharassment,abuse,assault.
Discriminationisalsobarredbecauseofparentalstatus,norcanparentalstatusberequiredasarequirementforenrollment.
IV.TITLEIXCOORDINATORAny student or employee who feels that he/she has been subjected todiscrimination, harassment or assault should report the incident(s), to LorraineBauchiero Title IX Coordinator, located in the front office on the ATCLAcampus. Telephone (213) 235‐9046, e‐mail: TitleIXCoordinator@atcla.edu.TheCoordinatorrecommendsappropriateactiontotheschooladministrationandrecordstheoutcomeofanyactiontakenorreasonsforrejectingthecomplaintandmaintains a record of complaints, action recommended and resolution of thecomplaint.
Ifaclaimofviolationismadeagainstanotherstudentoremployee,thatclaimwillbe investigated and a hearing held giving both the accused and the accuseropportunity to respond. Should a student or employee be found guilty, themaximumpenalty thatcanbe imposedby theschool isdismissal. Thevictimwillalsobeabletoreporttheincidenttothepolicedepartmentifhe/shewishestodosoandassistancewillbeofferedinmakingthereport.
Iftheperpetratoroftheviolationisneitherastudentnoranemployeeoftheschool,the school will provide whatever assistance is possible to the victim, but actionagainst the perpetratorwill be limited to reporting the incident(s) to the properauthorities, with permission of the victim. If the perpetrator is deemed to be a

threattootherstudentsoremployees,theincidentwillbereported,withholdingthevictim’snameunlessrequiredbylawtodiscloseit.
Privacyof the individualsmustbeobservedand full confidentialitymaintained toavoidpossiblelegalactionshouldinformationgivenprobetobefalse.
The act covers victims of dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault andstalkingwheretheoffenseoccurredonoroff‐campusandcoversbothstudentsandemployees.Theinstitutionmustrespondtoanyoftheseactsandincludestatisticsin the school annual Campus Crime Report. The Title IX Coordinator alsoparticipatesinperiodictrainingprogramsforemployees.
Because police reports are public record under California law, confidentiality ofreportscannotbeguaranteed.Exceptionsexistforsexualassaultandcrimeswherevictimsorwitnesseswouldbeatriskshouldtheirnamesbereleasedtothepublic.Ifyouareavictimofacrimeanddonotwanttopursueactionwithintheschoolorthe criminal justice systems youmay stillwant to considermaking a confidentialreport. This information will be disclosed in the annual report as statisticalinformationonlytohelppreventfurthercrimes.V.ATHLETICPROGRAMSAssociatedTechnical Collegehasno athleticprograms, nordoes it provide schoolownedresidentialfacilities.
VI.HATECRIMES
This school takes a strong stance against hate crimes. Crimesmotivated by race,gender, religion, ethnicity ,national origin, disability, sexual orientation or genderidentity,andanydeviationfromwhatarecommonlythoughtofasbeing‘female’ormale’arehatecrimesandareaseriousoffenseunderCalifornialawthatmayresultinprisontime. Aconvictioncannotbebasedonspeechaloneunlessthespeechisbased on threats against a person or a group of people. VIII.TIMELYWARNINGSTimelywarningswillbeissuedintheeventofanemergencysituationwhichposesanimmediatethreattostudentsandemployeesoncampusorintheimmediateareaaroundthecampus.The School Director, or the Director’s designee if the director is not available, isresponsible for determiningwhether awarningwill be issued. In arriving at thedecision, the Director will take into account all information available includingadvicefromsecuritypersonnel. IntheabsenceoftheDirector, the leadinstructorwillberesponsibleformakingthedetermination.TheDirector,orhisdesignee,willberesponsibleforthetypeandcontentofthewarning.If an emergency situation arises, either on campus or near the campus whichconstitutes an ongoing or continuing immediate threat, warnings will be issued

through class instructors and campus security officers and through the telephoneintercom system. Depending on circumstances, directionswill be given as to theresponse necessary. If an external situation is expected to last for an extendedperiod, noticeswill also be posted on campus bulletin boards, schoolweb pages,classannouncements,orlocalmediadetailingprocedurestobefollowed.Anyone with information warranting a timely warning should report thecircumstances to the Campus Director at (213) 353‐1835, or Campus Security at(323)535‐5842,oranyInstructororschoolstaffmember.IX. POLICIES FOR PREPARING THE ANNUAL DISCLOSURE OF CRIMESTATISTICS.CampusCrimeLog.All crimes reported on campus are entered into the Campus Crime Logwhen thecrimeisreportedtothesecuritystaffortotheSchoolDirector.Thelogcontainsthenatureofthecrime,thedateandtimethecrimeoccurred,thegenerallocationofthecrime,andthedispositionofthecrime,ifknown.EachentryintheCampusCrimeLogisbackedupbyacompletesecurityreport.
Noentryismadeondayswhennocrimeisreported
Thelogisupdatedwithintwodaysofthecrime.
TheCampusCrime log for themost recentperiod isavailable to studentsand thegeneral public. A request to view the log should bemade through the educationoffice, the financial aid office, or the director’s office and a timewill be arrangedwhenyoumayviewthelogduringregularbusinesshours.
Thesecurityofficerisresponsibleformaintainingthelogonadailybasis.
ThepreparationofannualdisclosureofcrimestatisticsispreparedbymembersoftheCorporate Staff. Inpreparing the report, statisticsmaintainedby the securityofficeandasurveyofdisciplinaryactionstakenbytheSchoolDirectorareutilized.The LA City Police Department is contacted to obtain statistics (if available) ofcrimes reported in thevicinityof the campuswithin theareautilizedby studentsduring break times. Reports of all incidents on campus are maintained by theSecuritystaff.XX. STATEMENT OF CURRENT POLICIES CONCERNING SECURITY OF, ANDACCESSTOCAMPUSFACILITIESSchoolbuildingsareopen tostudents,employeesand thepublicduringweekdaysfrom approximately 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Students should wear theiridentification tags to grain entrance to classrooms. A security officer is on dutyduringhourswhenthebuildingisopen.Theschooldoesnotmaintaincheckpoints

for entry and exit. The school has no campus residences and does not providesecuritybeyondthecampus.XXI.CURRENTPOLICIESCONCERNINGCAMPUSLAWENFORCEMENTCampus security personnel have the authority to intervene to prevent crime anddisturbances.Securitypersonneldonothaveauthoritytomakearrests,butwillcallpolicewhennecessary.Information provided to students upon enrollment and posted onbulletin boardsencouragethepromptreportingofallcrimestocampussecuritypersonnelandtothepolice.Theschooldoesnothavepastoralcounselorsorprofessionalcounselors.TheTitleIXCoordinatormaintainsalistofagencieswhichcanrenderassistance,ifneeded.Alistoftheseagenciesisalsoapartoftheschool’sCampusCrimePolicyandwillbefoundasanattachment.XXII.WEAPONSPROHIBITIONONCAMPUSThe policy applies to all employees, temporary workers, visitors, customers, andcontractors on school property, regardless ofwhether or not they are licensed tocarryaconcealedweapon.
No employee or visitormay enter college property with anytype ofweapon. This includes visible and concealedweapons, eventhose for which the owner has obtained the necessary permits.Possession of a valid concealed weapons permit authorized by theStateisnotanexemptionunderthispolicy. Whilethislist isnotallinclusive,weapons include firearms,knives, anyexplosivematerials,oranyotherobjectsthatcouldbeusedtoharass,intimidate,orinjureanotherindividual. Mace,peppersprayandotherprotectivedevicesare considered contraband and must be reported to a Collegeadministrator. Personswhocarry thesedeviceswithoutpermissionoftheschoolwillbeconsideredinviolationofthispolicyandwillbesubject to discipline, up to and including termination. Personswhocanpresentavalidreasonforpossessingthesedefensiveitemsmustobtainpermissionfromtheschooldirector.
Anyemployeewhodeterminesorhasareasonablebeliefthat
anemployee,student,orvisitoriscarryinganykindofweaponshouldnotify a school administrator immediately. Individuals should not,under any circumstances, attempt to disarm another employee orvisitor.

The only exceptions to this policy are police officers in theexecutionoftheirduties,securityguards,orotherpersonswhohavebeengivenwrittenconsentby theCollege tocarryaweaponon theproperty.
Employees who threaten another employee, supervisor,visitor, customer, or student with a weapon will be expelled, andstudents who threaten violence to another student, instructor orschoolemployeewillbeexpelled.Thoseinviolationofthispolicywillbeasked to leave thepremises immediately. Local lawenforcementauthoritiesmayalsobenotifiedforpossiblecriminalprosecution.
XIII.SECUIRTYAWARENESSANDCRIMEPREVENTIONCrimepreventionandsecurityprogramsareofferedonanirregularbasisasneed arises. Students and employees are encouraged to participate in thepreventionofcrimesbyobservingsafeprocedures.
Whenwalkingoff campus, especiallyatnight,use thebuddysystemwhereverpossible. I.e. have at least oneotherpersonwalkingwithyou.
Beaware!Recognizeyourvulnerability Report all suspicious persons, vehicles or activities to campus
security. Reportlightsthatareoutandanyhazardousconditions Donotacceptridesfrompersonsyoudonotknow. If you thinkyouarebeing followed,doanything toattract attention
andsummonassistance.Ifyouarewalkingaloneandsomeonepassesyou,checktomakesurethepersondoesnotturnandfollowyou.
Keepoutofisolatedareasasmuchaspossible. When driving, keep your vehicle locked. When entering the car,
especiallyatnight,checkthebackseatbeforeentering. Protectyourpropertybynot leavinganythingunattended. Property
left inclassroomsoraroundtheschoolmighteasilybepickedupbysomeoneelse.
Markyourpropertysothatitcanbeidentifiedifrecovered. Usebicyclelocks Donotenteradarkroom.Turnonlightsbeforeentering.
Theschoolencouragesstudentsandstafftopromptlyreportanysuspectedcriminalactivity to the Campus Security Authorities, or School Director. The schoolmaintains an ‘open door’ policy between all staff and students encouraging opencommunicationbetweenstudentsandtheirinstructors,advisorsandothercampuspersonnel. Studentsshouldneverfeelintimidated,embarrassed,oruncomfortableaboutreportingasuspectedcrimetoanymemberoftheschoolstaff.Ifasuspectedcrime is reported to a staff or faculty member by a student, the staff or faculty

member may accompany the student to the proper authorities to report theincident. The student will then be encouraged to report the crime to theappropriatepoliceagencies,andwillprovidethestudentwiththemeanstodoso.CampusSecurityAuthoritiesareresponsiblefornotonlyrespondingintheeventofacrimeoremergency,butalsolookforopportunitiestodeterand/orpreventcrime.In an effort to improve safety on campus and make the community aware ofpreventionservicesandreducetheincidentsofcrime,securitypersonnelmayalsoprovidethecampuscommunitywiththefollowingservices:

XXIV.THISSCHOOLDOESNOTHAVEOFF‐CMPUSACTIVITIESOROFFCAMPUS
RESIDENCESXXV..ALCOHOLANDDRUGPOLICY
Substance abuse may result in a wide array of serious health and behaviorproblems. Substanceabusehasboth longandshort‐termeffectson thebodyandthe mind. Alcohol and drugs may be toxic to the human body. In addition totoxicity, contaminant poisonings often occur with drug use. HIV infection withintravenousdruguseisonesuchhazard.
Acuteor long‐termhealthproblemsmay includeheart attack, stroke, and suddendeath,whichcanoccurfor first timecocaineusers. Long‐lastingeffectscausedbydrug and alcohol abuse can cause disruption of normal heart rhythm, high bloodpressure,leaksofbloodvesselsinthebrain,bleedinganddestructionofbraincells,possible memory loss, infertility, impotency, immune system impairment, kidneyfailure, cirrhosis of the liver andpulmonarydamage. Druguse duringpregnancy

may result in fetal damage and birth defects causing hyperactivity, neurologicalabnormalities,anddevelopmentaldifficulties.Laws regarding the possession, sale, consumption or furnishing of alcohol iscontrolledbytheCaliforniaDepartmentofAlcoholandBeverageControl.Thishasbeen designated a drug and alcohol free campus and this policywill be enforced.Anyone found to be possessing or using alcohol or drugs will be subjected todisciplinaryaction,uptoandincludingpermanentdismissalandmaybesubjectedto criminal prosecution, fine and imprisonment. A complete Alcohol and DrugPolicy is published separately and provided to students prior to enrollment andduringorientation.
The Alcohol and Drug Policy and Education is presented to incoming studentsduringorientation. The instruction includesa listofagenciesandotherresourcesthatastudentencounteringaproblemmayuse.
NOTE:AlthoughCaliforniahasapprovedtheuseofmarijuanaforrecreationaluse,students receive federal financial aid and thereforemust adhere to federal policywhichprohibitsuseofdrugsoralcoholon schoolproperty. TheATCLASchool isalso locatedadjacent topublic schoolsandCalifornia lawstillprohibits theuseofmarijuana near these schools. Violation of these regulations will result indisciplinaryactionandtheoffendermaybesubjecttoarrestforviolatingCaliforniaandfederallaw.XXVI.SEXUALOFFENCESThisschoolwillnottoleratesexualassaultinanyform.AstudentcanbeprosecutedunderCaliforniacriminalstatuesanddisciplinedunderthecampuscodeofstudentconduct. Even if the justice authorities choose not to prosecute, the campus canpursuedisciplinaryaction.Ifachargeisproventobetrue,theperpetratorwillbedismissed. This is the maximum punishment the school can impose. For thatreason,westronglyurgevictimstoreportsuchcrimestothepolicedepartment.Sexual offences to be reported may be committed either on or off campus andinclude rape, fondling, incest, statutory rape, domestic violence, dating violence,sexualassaultandstalking. ‘Domesticviolence’meansafelonyormisdemeanorcrimeofviolencecommittedby

The school uses brochures designed to inform students of existing on and off‐campus reporting. Counseling and mental health services. Posted warnings areplacedonbulletinboards. Lecturesareofferedonwaystoavoidunwantedsexualactivitiesandwhattodoifassaulted.Students, facultyandstaff should reportall crimesso thatan investigationcanbemade to determine if any pattern of recurring crime can be determined. If areportedcrimeisconsideredathreattootherstudents,alertpostersareplacedoncampusbulletinboardsandbydirectcommunicationwithstudents,ifnecessary.Weencouragetheimmediatereportingofsexcrimestothepoliceat911forfurtheraction,andwillassistthevictimindoingso.Thedecisiontonotifypoliceisleftuptothevictim. Indisciplinaryaction,theaccusedhasarighttobeheard. Boththeaccusedandtheaccuserhavetherighttohaveothernon‐professionalspresentandgiveevidenceduringanydisciplinaryaction. Confidentialityofthoseinvolvedwillbe preserved, except in notification made to police, unless the parties givepermissiontousenames. All crimes, including sex crimes on or off campus, should be reported to campussecuritystaff,totheCampusDirector,orhishis/herdesigneeinpersonorbycalling(213)413‐6808.ReporttoSchoolDirectorortheTitleIXCoordinator.When a rape/sexual offense is reported, the collegewillmake every effort to seethat the victim is offered both medical and psychological care as well as giveninformation about prosecuting the suspect through both criminal and collegedisciplinarychannels.A victimof any formof sexual offense is encouraged to seek appropriatemedicalassistance. If necessary, the victim can be transported to the nearest emergencyroom.Seekingmedicalassistanceisadvisedsothatanyevidencecanbepreserved

XXXVI.FAILURETOCOMPLYWITHANYOFTHEFOREGOINGREQUIREMENTS Shall be cause for immediate expulsion of the student as such, without
furtherobligationor liabilityon thepartof theschooloranyof its stafforinstructors,exceptcompliancewithstateandfederalrefundpolicy.
Failure to maintain these standards may be documented as studentdisciplinaryrecords,whicharemaintainedbytheAcademicDepartment, incompliancewith theFamilyEducationalRightsandPrivacyAct (FERPA)of1973, the Higher Education Act amendments, and the ATC Student RightsandResponsibilitiespolicies.
A faculty member may also request that a student remove him or herselffrom the classroom for that class period. The faculty member shallimmediatelyfileanincidentreport. Permanentremovalishandledthroughdisciplinaryhearingsandprocedures. TheCampusDirectormayalsoexpelstudentsexhibitingseverebehavioralproblems,or those thatposea safetyorsecuritythreattomembersofthecampuscommunity.
Disciplinary proceedingsmay be instituted against a student chargedwithviolationofalawthatisalsoaviolationofthisStudentConductCode.
Anypersonmay file awritten complaint against a student’smisconduct orthreateningbehaviorwith theCampusSecuritypersonnel, or anonymouslyon an Incident Report. All student complaints will be investigated bydesignatedcampussecuritypersonnel.
Any studentwho is expelled has the right to file an appealwith the President ofDiversifiedEducationCompanywhowilladdresstheappealpersonallyorappointacorporatestaffmember,ormemberstodoso.Convictions:An active student who is convicted of an off‐campus violation of a controlledsubstancestatue,asdefinedbylaw,whetheritislocal,stateorfederal,isrequiredtoreporteachviolationtotheSchoolDirectororauthorizedadministratorwithin5daysofconviction.XXXVII.SEXUALASSAULTANDHARASSMENT
SexualHarassment:Sexualharassmentisillegalandwillnotbetolerated.
The College intends to provide an educational environment that is free fromharassmentofstudentsbasedonsex,race,color,religion,ethnicity,nationalorigin,sexual orientation, sexual identity, age, disability, or marital status. This policyprohibits any student, employee, or visitor from harassing another student,employeeorvisitoratanycollegelocationoractivity.

Anyverbal,physicalorotherconductbasedononeormoreoftheaboveconditionsthathas thepurposeoreffectof threatening, intimidating,orcoercinganother,orimpairing academic performance, career development, or any other aspect ofeducation is prohibited harassment. This policy not only prohibits instructorharassment of students, it also prohibits misconduct by any member of oureducationalcommunitytowardanyinstructor,staffmemberorfellowstudent.
Prohibitedharassment(includingsexualharassment)doesnotrefertobehaviororoccasional compliments of a socially acceptable nature. However, some behaviorthat is acceptable in a social settingmay not be appropriate in theworkplace orschoolsetting.Harassment,ofanysort,referstobehaviorthatisnotwelcome,thatispersonallyoffensive,thatfailstorespecttherightsofothers,thatlowersmoraleand,therefore,interfereswithacademicperformance.Whetherornotanindividualconsiders her/his action to be harassment, he/she must cease that activity ifrequestedtodoso.
Thevictimdoesnothavetobethepersontowardwhomtheunwelcomeconductisdirected,butmaybesomeonewhoisaffectedbysuchconductwhenit isdirectedtoward another person. For example, the harassment of an employee or studentmaycreateanintimidating,hostileoroffensiveenvironmentforanotheremployeeorstudent.
DefinitionofSexualHarassmentAnyactof “quidproquo”(“something forsomething)sexualharassment,whereastudent, supervisor, instructor or other employeewith the power or authority togrant or withhold benefits or privileges, demands sexual favors in exchange forbenefits or privileges. No student or employee should so much as imply thatanother student or employee’s “cooperation” with sexual demands will have anyeffect on academic performance, career development, or any other aspect ofeducation.
Unwelcomesexualadvances,requestsforsexualfavors,orotherverbalorphysicalconductofasexualnaturewhensubmissiontoorrejectionofsuchconductisusedas thebasis fordecisionsorhas thepurposeoreffectofunreasonably interferingwith an individual’s performance or creating an intimidating or hostileenvironment.
Examples of conduct prohibited by this policy include, but are not limited to, thefollowingconduct:
Explicit or implicit demands for sexual favors in return for benefits orprivileges
Unwelcome letters, e‐mail communications, or telephone calls of a sexualnature.
Distribution or display of materials of a sexual nature, including posters,screensaversorcomputergraphics,calendars,orpicturesofmenorwomenwhoaredressedinasexuallysuggestivemanner.

Utilizing College facilities, time or resources in relation to any form ofentertainment,suchasstrippersorbellydancers, that tendtopresentmenorwomenassexualobjects.
Physicalassaultsofasexualnatureorcoercedsexualcontact. Unwelcome and deliberate touching, leaning over, cornering, pinching, or
otheruntowardsexualbehavior. Unwelcomesexualsuggestivelooksorgestures. Unwelcomepressureforsexualfavorsordates. Unwelcome teasing, jokes, remarks, innuendo, insults, questions, or vulgar
languagethatrelatestoorisbasedonaperson’ssex.Studentsandstaffareasked to be mindful of others around them. Comments not intended asharassment, and not perceived as such by the person to whom they aredirected,maybeoffensiveandunwelcome toanotheremployeeor studentwhooverhearsthem.
Affording favorable treatment to those who grant sexual favors, orunfavorabletreatmenttothosewhorefusetosubmittoorrejectrequestsforsexualfavors.
Thispolicyprohibitssexualharassmentofpeopleoftheoppositesex(maletowardfemale;femaletowardmale)orpeopleofthesamesex(maletowardmale;femaletoward female.) This policy not only prohibits instructor sexual harassment ofstudents,italsoprohibitsmisconductbyanymemberofoureducationalcommunitytowardaninstructor,staffmember,orfellowstudent.XXXVIII..STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES FOR REPORTING PROHIBITEDHARASSMENT,INCLUDINGSEXUALHARASSMENT Itisthedutyandobligationofallstudentstocomplywiththispolicyandto
reportconduct that theybelieve tobeprohibitedharassment to theSchoolDirectororotherstaffmember.
Anystudentwhobelievesthatheorsheisbeingharassedisencouragedtoconfrontthepersonorpersonsresponsibleforcausingtheoffense.Oftenthesimplestandmosteffectivewaytoputanendtoharassingbehavioristotelltheharasserthatthebehaviorisoffensiveandunwelcome,andtostop.
If the misconduct continues, or if the student feels uncomfortable aboutconfrontingtheharasser,heorsheshouldbringtheimproperconducttotheattention of the appropriate member of management using the followingcomplaintprocedure.

Ifthereportofprohibitedharassmentissubstantiated,Collegeauthoritieswilltakethecorrectiveactionitdeemsappropriate. Basedontheseverityoftheoffenseinthecaseofanemployeeviolator,theactionmayinclude,butisnotlimitedto,oralorwrittenreprimand,demotion,suspension,ortermination.Basedontheseverityoftheoffenseinthecaseofastudentviolator,theactionmayinclude,butisnotlimitedto,oralorwrittenreprimand,suspensionorexpulsion.
Ifstudentshaveanyquestionsregardingsexualharassmentintheworkplaceorthispolicy,theyshouldcontacttheiradmissionsrepresentativeortheprogramdirector,ortheSchoolDirector.
The law prohibits retaliation for reporting any form of illegal harassment, or forfiling a complaint, testifying, assisting, or participating in any manner in aninvestigation,proceeding,orhearingregardinganyformofillegalharassment.Thisschoolwilltakeappropriatemeasurestoensurethatnosuchretaliationoccurs.
As harassment charges are takenwith great concern, any personwho knowinglymakesa falseclaimofharassmentmaybesubject todisciplinaryactionuptoandincludingexpulsionfromtheCollege.
Stalking:Stalking is a crime in all states. Stalking is defined as: Willful, malicious, andrepeatedfollowingandharassmentcombinedwithcrediblethreatintendedtocasethevictimtobeinfearfortheirsafety.
