It’s far less expensive to keep the pollution out of the water, air and soil

than it is to treat or remove it later.

Evaluate all Waste generating activities and develop a plan for their management and

disposal.

� Airport is like small city and therefore generates a wide array of types of waste, all of which can cause pollution, if not managed properly.

� Your Waste Management Plan should identify all the wastes and how they should be managed to prevent or limit impact on the environment

�Establish Collection and Recycling Program� Obtain management support

� Assign specific individual or team to develop and implement program

� Organize group with airline, concessions and other stakeholders
