FINAL FOUR HOTEL:in collaboration with A. Macias
This twenty floor hotel and indoor arcade accommodates the influx of visitors to Syracuse in the event that the city holds the Final Four basketball tournament. Located to the northeast of Fayette Park, the large cutouts give views over the city and toward the university and Carrier Dome.
METAL FACADE SYSTEMS:in collaboration with M. Ma and C. Hu
In Material Manifestations, students were required to build a full scale sample of an existing facade system. We chose to replicate the de Young Museum’s copper facade, and worked with a local fabricator to water jet cut holes in copper sheets. We then de-signed and fabricated a stamp to emboss the sheets.

DORMITORY + DINING HALL RENOVATIONNelSoN, NHApple Hill Center for Chamber Music, where I worked doing main-tenance and construction, asked me to design a dormitory building and make a proposal for an addition to their existing dining hall in order to accommodate more campers.
