Package design is my favorite course. One part of these works are from the assignments when I had this course in Taiwan, while the other partcomes from my inspirational flash when I was free. I would like to show you my works more impo-rtantly my interests and thoughts on package design.I always believe that the package can certainly create extra value for a certain product. But it’s meaningless to talk about package and ignore the product itself.

This set of package is for a kind of tea grew in my hometown. And the compact and ingenious design will suit thetarget customers --- young people.

When you take the leaves from the pyramid-shaped box which resembles the mountain that the tea grows on,it isexactly how you pick fresh tea leaves from the tea tree onthe hill.

Pattern and color

The green gives the customers the hint that this is green tea.

The images on the package are geometric patternssymbolizing the rolling hills in my hometown.

And This work win the Nominee Award for China Package De-sign Competition.

The topic is to revitalize the old brand by changing its package.

I choose ZhangXiaoQuan scissors,- --an old brand with an over 100-year history. Because scissors symbolised a propitious meaning in chinese troditional culture. I use different wrappers to activate its role as a gift for different purposes.

This is a package of sauces. When I design,I always try to connect the package and the produce in a clear way.

This logo on the bottle is a good example of my idea as a designer.

From a set of questionnaire conducted among people of different ages, I get their “stereotype”about North Europe: beautiful scenery, sketchyfurniture and another important idea :Runes.

This work features in Cipai (the name of tune) of Chinese Song poems. The smooth lines of the typeface, combined with Chinese-style window lattice, symbolizes the gracefulness of this very poetic form.

This design reminds me of the the works of Mondrian. So I thinkthe visual effect of this work can be appreciated by people from the East and the West.

And I konw all the perfect lay-out are contribute to show theinformation

IntroductionThis is a brochure about Japanese Kaiseki cuisine.

This design follows the traditional Japanese styl byusing the white space. The color is light and soft to match the taste of Kaiseki cuisine.

The cover of the brochure is featured with a simple Japanese pattern.

創業於1970年，最開始販售的是真木哥

哥的漆藝作品，店名yobi由京都茶懷石

料理店「辻留」

第二代掌門人辻嘉一命名，意為用途之美。

懷石料理原為在日本茶道中，主人請客人品

嘗的飯菜。現已不限於茶道，成為日本常見

的高檔菜色。『懷石』指的是佛教僧人在坐

禪時在腹上放上暖石以對抗饑餓的感覺。

其形式為『一汁三菜』。

懷石料理只限於一年四季應季的食材而

做出菜單，重視季節感的同時，最大限

度利用食材的色澤、香味和味道。哪怕

是一條切下來的碎片，絕不浪費。

適當地燙或冷卻盛裝的器皿，讓客人熱

菜可以趁熱吃，涼菜可以趁涼吃。

重視這樣的體貼關懷的提供方式，也非

常珍惜菜上到客人那裏之前的時間。

做菜單時，注重儘量安排山珍和海味的

排列，面對魚刺較多的魚也會剔得極為

仔細。

同時用的器皿之間的搭配問題，適當地

對食材進行改刀。

日本皇室在正月會準備用白的圓餅夾有小豆

色的菱餅，牛蒡，味曾的『菱葩』。

以此為原形設計製作了花瓣餅。

餅花在1月15日小正月作為祈禱穀物豐收

而被供奉裝飾。

春季（3月—5月）象『草餅』『櫻餅』帶

有草或葉子香氣的果子開始熱鬧起來。






『雛果子』『柏餅』『粽子』等和各種年中

儀式關係密切的果子居多。
