and applying to the Visual and Performing Arts Department.

Submission of an art portfolio is a necessary requirement

for admission to the department. If you have questions, please

feel free to get in touch with us at admissions@daemen.edu.

WHAT SHOULD I SUBMIT?

• Submit 5 to 7 of your best pieces in traditional and/or digital media.

• Work can be from high school classes, or self-directed.

• Include an art list with pertinent information, or a label on the back.

• Sketchbooks are not required, but highly recommended. They give us insight to the depth of your process.

HOW DO I SUBMIT AND IN WHAT FORMAT?

Daemen’s Art Department faculty will review your portfolio. They will generally respond within 2 weeks of submission.

We accept both physical and digital portfolios. Digitally generated work can stay digital.

• Please mail physical portfolios. They must include a postage- paid mailer for us to return to the applicant:
