WI ID Mission Efficiently managing and distributing critical data and information will be vital to ensuring long-term, drought-resistant water supplies. The Water Information Integration & Dissemination (WIID) initiative utilizes internet-based mapping technology to significantly improve internal and external access to water-related data in order to facilitate providing TWDB customers with a much needed tool to locate and access agency water-related data. Overview of WI ID System The WI ID currently consists of 4 applications:
1. Groundwater Database 2. Submitted Driller's Report 3. Brackish Groundwater Database 4. Surface Water Data and Mapping Tool 5. Click here to go the USGS National Water Information System 6. Click here to go the TCEQ Water Well Report Viewer
Click here to go the a detailed description of the applications. Please be sure to turn Pop-up Blocker OFF for * .state.tx.us For more help with navigating through this system, please review the "quick tutorial" above or the WIID "Help" file.

Older reports
25 ft in a clay soil, i.e. soil absorption rate (Ra) < 0.1 gal/sf/day,
75 ft in a soil predominantly sand, i.e. Ra > 0.1; Or may be 50 ft with secondary (aerobic) treatment and disinfection
In the latter case, to place a drip disposal area 50 ft from a body
of water in a predominantly sandy soil , aerobic treatment
and disinfection is required
Continuous chlorination is not recommended by some manufacturers
UV disinfection is an alternative
All components of an OSSF must be 1 ft from the easement, unless permission is granted by the easement holder
Easements are recorded with the County Clerk’s office. Other sources are
recorded plats & some surveys
Distance to tanks, drip system disposal area, soil absorption systems is 1 ft
A surface applicationspray area may spray to the edge of the easement
Is there an underground easement on this site? County clerk’s office has recorded easement or easement abandonment documents “Call before you dig” & other utility location services Fence line markers Survey Subdivision plat Title Search
Distance to tanks is 5 ft Distance to sewer pipe is 10 ft Distance to surface application area,10 ft
Distance to drip disposal area is 10 ft when Ra<0.1, 25 ft when Ra> 0.1
No minimum distance to the edge of a surface application (spray) area
No minimum distance to a drip irrigation disposal area
Tanks and sewer pipes with untreated sewage must be 5 ft away
