UPDATENews

PPIL STRENGTHENS ITS STRONG FLEXIBLE FILM & BARRIER PACKAGING CAPACITY

Acquires ICM Packaging Pvt. Ltd. to further expand its flexible business & add pharma packaging vertical.

Positive Packaging Industries Ltd. has recently announced the

acquisition of Indian flexible packaging manufacturer – ICM

Packaging Pvt. Ltd. This acquisition will help bolster the strong

flexible film & barrier packaging capacity of Positive Packaging

and add a new vertical - Pharmaceutical Packaging to its portfolio.

ICM packaging has a combined manufacturing capacity of

9500 tons per annum. PPIL is a one-stop source for quality,

printed and laminated, barrier-grade flexible packaging

materials. Mr. L. Ramkrishnan – MD & CEO of Positive

Packaging, says “We are experiencing a marked increase in

demand for flexible & barrier films in the market. With our

manufacturing units at Khopoli and Ambernath running at

maximum capacity, there was a clear need for additional

demand requirement to be met. This gap has been filled by

acquiring ICM Packaging. The location of ICM Packaging, a

close neighbour to Vista Film Packaging, makes it all the more

feasible, operationally and logistically.”
