South Asia’s largest pharma event – CPhI & PMEC India 2015 witnessed a record participation by 34767 visitors & 1100+ exhibitors from 95 countries who came to do business, exchange ideas, learn and form future alliances, and shape the future of the pharma industry under one roof.

As a pre-cursor to the event, UBM India introduced the Indian edition of Pre-Connect Congress (7th edition internationally), India Pharma Awards and launched Industry dedicated publication reports.

Indian Pharma Industry has started with a humble beginning and has now grown to the largest generic manufacturersin the world. Also 50% of our production is exported worldwide. PMEC has opened up India to the world and opened up the world to India. Here at CPhI India we can see thousands of pharma buyers from all around the world. There are around 30-40 country stalls across CPHI & PMEC event. They are all selling their products to India and in return buying the products from India. Pre-Connect Congress

The CPhI India Pre-Connect Congress held in Mumbai, witnessed a congregation of leading pharma experts; discussing and providing unique insights on inorganic growth strategies, bridging gaps between regulatory authorities, transfer pricing concerns, the state of data integrity and the scope for biosimilars in the Indian market.

The Congress hosted more than 250 Professionals globally not only from top but even midsized companies and new entrants in the community. The Congress was also televised on Bloomberg TV capturing the key highlights of this Pharma community.

3rd Annual India Pharma Awards

All the buzz on the show floor…

The 3rd Annual India Pharma Awards which concluded on 30th November, 2015 celebrated excellence and recognized contribution of Indian Pharmaceutical Companies. India Pharma Awards in association with TAKE solutions provided an opportunity for the companies to showcase their innovations and accomplishments in the sector.

The event which was attended by over 500 guests from the Pharma Sector was marked by an evening of networking and entertainment courtesy, well known Indian stand up artist, Sorabh Pant.
