Dr. Espel-Huynh’s clinical interests lie in providing evidence-based behavioral interventionsfor weight management, healthy eating, and physical activity. Dr. Espel-Huynh works withpatients with a range of comorbid medical concerns, such as cardiovascular disease,diabetes, and hypertension. Her prior work has also included working with patients witheating disorders in the outpatient and residential levels of care.

Dr. Espel-Huynh's research interests include combining advanced predictive analytics (e.g.,machine learning), implementation science, and technology-facilitated interventions toimprove delivery of evidence-based care for obesity and eating disorders in communitytreatment settings.
