Poster Session — Call for PapersThe members of the University Council Student Engagement and Success Committee and the Student Success Steering Team are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the University of Akron Retention and Completion Plan Work Day 2 Poster Session to be held March 30, 2015 from 10:15 to 11:00 am in The University of Akron Student Union Ballroom B. (Presenters may set up their materials at 9:00 am.)
SPECIAL SESSION FOCUS:
“Highlighting University of Akron Successes”Students in higher education face a number of challenges on the road to completing a college degree. University faculty, sta�, administrators, and contract professionals have developed strategies and imple-mented interventions to help students succeed along the way. Now is your chance to showcase your student success stories and share your best practices with others across campus who are working for our students’ success. Expectations for posters.
Proposals for poster presentations should be submitted to Fedearia Nicholson or Deborah Owens, the session co-chairs, by March 16, 2015. Presenters may also choose to submit written papers for inclusion in the Akron Student Success Collection—a compilation of student success practices and initiatives at The University of Akron.
